Stayed here last minute due tomorrow saying our flight. Staff were very nice to us considering my miserable state!! Comfortable night, with a range of breakfasts included before we set off again. The shuttle bus at £4 each way was a brilliant bonus too

The host was the sweetest lady and made sure everything was comfortable for us. I felt extremely safe with the coded door lock and individual room keys. The shared kitchen and back patio are where we spent most of our time. Everything was clean and well cared for. We can’t recommend this place enough!!

The location was great for my needs. Having stayed at other locations during my stay, we felt the price was a little on the high side for each night. For less of a price at others we received a full english breakfast. The room also was clean but not sparkling.

We got a final email the day before confirming our stay with instructions but what they failed to mention is that there was no heat or hot water in our cottage When we called for assistance we got no help no apologies and had 2 cold days and nights To add to that no taxi or Uber would pick us up for a day out since the inn was so remote We asked if someone would take us to a nearby castle and the answer was no So we were stranded in a cold cottage with no hot water no heat unable to leave and NO apologies 😡

The gardens and property were fine the guests I shared the cottage with didn't know me and Keith me awake I had to leave at 1.00 am and drive and hour and half home I came to stay to get some relaxation which didn't happen I'm very upset it ruined my weekend I have a painful condition fibromyalgia and it made me worse.
