A beautiful, remote, tranquil fishing village with stunning views out to sea and towards the hills. A great base for walking, cycling and exploring the island. Situated approx halfway between Stornaway and Tarbert. A well-stocked shop and community cafe (very friendly staff!) is about 6 miles away.

Beautiful part of the island giving us relatively easy access to many of the must sees on Lewis as well as the opportunity to visit Harris. The Graver area and road up to main road was usually reliable for sea eagle most days as well as a few golden eagle.
