Shona is a wonderful and kind host. Probably the nicest person we've come across so far on our trip. She always wants to make sure you're comfortable, and has such lovely tips for enjoying the area. We loved the town, and the property is so beautiful and well kept. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, made with love. The area has so many walking trails, and birds chirping all day and night. So peaceful. Thank you Shona for your hospitality!

It’s a super wee village with all the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants you would want. Close to woodland walks from the town and short drive to the river and mountains of the Cairngorms a more relaxed feel than the nearby town of Aviemore.

A beautiful area with ancient forest, a local honey maker, an amazing selection of local shops - refillery, bookshop, stationery shop, big supermarket. This is a lovely place to stay to explore the Cairngorm national park. Easy to drive to highlights like Rothy Murchus and Loch Garten. Also lots of other adjacent areas like Nethy Bridge, Forres and Findhorn.

This was the biggest surprise of our trip! The hotel was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was like staying in a fairytale castle. It was very traditional and beautiful. We had everything we need and more. Also the room was very large! The morning, the breakfast was exceptional, very generous, well presented and the host made sure we had everything we needed. We wished we could have stayed longer!
Beautiful location. Handy for the town, just a few minutes drive from Grantown on Spey. Scenery stunning. Cottage is right next to woods. The kitchen looks out onto birdfeeders, visited by red squirrels, woodpeckers and great tits. Accommodation is contemporary and very comfoortable. Particularly comfortable beds. Hosts are welcoming and very helpful, their house is on the same site.
David and Beate are really nice and made our stay just perfect. The room is very big and the bed is very comfy. The breakfast was fantastic and freshly prepared. Haus Alba is in the middle of Grantown on Spey and you have different places to drink and eat near by. Information are provided by David and Beate in a guest folder in the room. We can definitely recommend this B&B.
A beautiful house with fantastic hosts who welcome you as if you’ve been friends for years. A very comfortable room with everything catered for and a wonderful breakfast selection that sets you up for whatever your day has in store. Ideally located for the centre of Grantown on Spey, and for all walks in the area. Would I stay again .... an absolute 100% Yes !
We stayed in 8 hotels during out tour of Scotland and Ravenscourt House was our favorite. Nic was an excellent host. We loved the bar, the breakfast and the onsite restaurant which we ate at our first night. Nic was very helpful and and always available. He mixed us Gin and tonics and lent us ice packs to treat our injuries lol. Loved it here.
Friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk to town. Chose the location to visit Blair Castle and the Cooperage. Spacious room and bath. There was a fan in the room; weather was warm and muggy. Fun, educational private whiskey tasting, followed by delicious dinner at hotel. Loved the hotel bar. Friendly guests made the stay lots of fun.
Lovely dog friendly hotel within easy reach of town and great forest walks. Our dog wasn't very well and Mark was really helpful and called his vet ,big relief and she was soon better.Really comfortable room with soft towels and good shower. The meals were delicious and piping hot with great choice. So glad we found this hotel .
This is one of those grand old hotels with plaid carpeting, stag decor, and photos of birds. They bill themselves the wildlife hotel. They can recommend birding spots. You right next to the Cairngorms and about 30 miles from Culloden. Lovely dinner followed by several drams of the local whiskies in the cozy bar.
Great location within easy walking distance of local amenities yet a quiet pleasant neighbourhood. Nearby woods and the lovely river Spey good for walking. Easy driving distance to mountains and lochs and not too far from the coast. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. We were extremely comfortable.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Ben Mhor Hotel. Staff welcoming and helpful, room and bathroom clean, bed comfy, good quiet location. As coeliac, loved the range of gluten free options on breakfast and dinner menus, food delicious, staff knowledgable and service excellent
