David and Beate were amazing hosts. We felt at home.
The accommodation was huge, ideally located in the city, within walking distance of good restaurants and pubs.
We had wonderful advice on every question we had. Breakfast was amazing too.
I will definitely go back to Haus Alba for the whisky festival next year !!
Thank you for everything :)

We liked the location, the property, the room, the little extras in the room, the breakfasts were varied and really nice. It was nice to have sufficient parking spaces for all the guests. Isla and her brother are fantastic hosts, they couldn't do enough for each of the guests. They provided lots of really useful local information with history and also information for people traveling further afield. A big thumbs up from my wife and I. If we were ever to visit the area again we would contact this host above all others.

It’s a super wee village with all the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants you would want. Close to woodland walks from the town and short drive to the river and mountains of the Cairngorms a more relaxed feel than the nearby town of Aviemore.

A beautiful area with ancient forest, a local honey maker, an amazing selection of local shops - refillery, bookshop, stationery shop, big supermarket. This is a lovely place to stay to explore the Cairngorm national park. Easy to drive to highlights like Rothy Murchus and Loch Garten. Also lots of other adjacent areas like Nethy Bridge, Forres and Findhorn.

Beautiful area to spend time in.
Beautiful area to spend time in. The town is small, has some nice walks and cute cafes. It's in a gorgeous location surrounded by the Cairngorms so I definitely recommend for a weekend getaway, or even a few nights to get yourself out in nature.

The Ben Mhor Hotel was very cosy, friendly staff, cleaned, in the centre of a little village, with little shops, coffee shop, restaurant and take away all around, walking distance, nice views and the snow was a plus. A lots of suggestive places to visit not far from there, we went by car so we could go to Inverness, Loch Ness, Loch Morlich and more. Nature and scenarios breath taken. I would recommend it for a peaceful and adventure holiday :)
Everything about this stay was perfect! Cozy stay with fun and attentive hosts… plus an amazing breakfast! We really could not have had a better time. You can tell they really put so much love and thought into every detail throughout the stay. The hosts also had some fantastic recommendations and were wonderfully knowledgeable about any topic (that we thought of) to further our experience of Scotland. Thank you both for having us!!!
You will not find two more detail-oriented, thoughtful and generous hosts than Thomas and Ben. This stay was exceptional and the breakfast was equal to any five-star dining experience we’ve had in all of Scotland. The owners went above and beyond to return a treasured item back to us that we’d forgotten after we left Grantown. We highly recommend staying at the Rossmor on any trip to the Cairngorms.
Loved staying in this lovely quirky cottage in ideal location. Very clean on arrival, all bedding and plenty towels supplied for 3 of us. Staircase, uneven floors and outdated kitchen equipment not for some, I felt added to character of property, made a cooked breakfast one morning no problem, otherwise mostly ate out at Grantown on Speys various excellent pubs and restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay at Coppice Cottage the facilities were good the surrounding area was quiet and there are some walking paths nearby. Is good place to use as a base to explore the wider surrounding area and to return for a well deserve rest. The host was excellent with communication never intrusive. We recommend this Cottage to our friends.
Friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk to town. Chose the location to visit Blair Castle and the Cooperage. Spacious room and bath. There was a fan in the room; weather was warm and muggy. Fun, educational private whiskey tasting, followed by delicious dinner at hotel. Loved the hotel bar. Friendly guests made the stay lots of fun.
Marvelous views over the Cairngorms, felt like a home rather than a holiday let, well appointed and equipped, we enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool, a nice extra. Well placed for Grantown on Spey and Aviemore for eating out and shopping. Great base for walking, running and cycling from the front door.
All the food was very good. The owners were friendly and very helpful in giving advice on what to see and do. The location is fine, especially for the Dava Trail. The nearest restaurant to 10-15 mins away so we took ate in on one night and the meal was excellent.
Breakfast was wonderful! Make your selection the night before from a varied menu. David and Beate were great hosts. Informative and providing guidance to touring the area up through Elgin to Inverness. One of our favorite stays while in Scotland.
This food at this hotel is outstanding. The chef has won awards, it is very reasonably priced, and they are very accommodating. Everything is very clean in the rooms and the staff is very nice. I would absolutely stay here again.
The hotel was my kind of hotel it had a beautiful atmosphere and very homely..

Yes a super stay..

Great place to stay. Beside we got everything we needed, we got a warm welcome from the hosts with good recommodation about the nearby restaurants. The breakfast was rich and of high quality!
Everything about this place was amazing and unique! I would recommend this Country House Hotel to anyone who is planning on staying in the area, it will not disappoint!
