Staff were brilliant and very helpful, food was very good and service was quick, and good value at £22 for 3 course's. Breakfast buffet was all you could want and again staff were brilliant.
Abigail on reception deserves a special mention as was very attentive and genuinely lovely.
This 4-star luxury hotel and spa is set in a Georgian mansion style building surrounded by attractive landscaped gardens. Liverpool and Manchester are both 30 minutes’ drive away.

Was able to park close to the hotel front door. There was a lift and the place was very clean and modern looking. Same with the bedroom. Their breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items.

The property was clean and staff friendly. My room was comfortable. What I was really impressed with was how the Village hotel has become a hub for the local community- I loved seeing the families coming in for swim lessons, seniors using the pool for exercise, coffee groups at Starbucks, and other activities at the hotel. As a solo traveler, this made me feel safe and at home. The community visitors were friendly, quiet, and respectful. It really felt like home away from home. Thanks for the small community feeling!
