The proprietors were very helpful and concerned with our needs. All our questions were answered and information about the area was provided. It was a very quiet location that served our needs very well.

The location was easy to find with off road parking.After dark the area around the house was well lit.It was quiet at all times of the day and night.

Wigtown is the book capital of Scotland and Craigmount is an excellent example which involves the guest in books. The house was furnished with books and there were well chosen books in the room we used that were
inviting and beautifully displayed. We would readily recommend staying there especially during book week.
