Best deal I could find for the date. Some reviews clearly pre-date current management as nothing to complain about for a budget hotel.

Perfect location, easy check in and very friendly staff. The rooms are easy to access and locate and are very clean.

We loved the beautiful grounds, the pool and spa and the sumptuous public lounges and bars.
The breakfasts were top notch with very good quality ingredients. The room was spacious with a really comfortable bed.
Comfy bed with good pillows. Corridor outside room smelt feisty/damp and the door was difficult to open/close properly. Room smelt very damp/mouldy. I did mention to staff at Reception and they offered me a room change. At 10pm at night I did not feel this was viable. The next morning my eyes were gritty and sore, I had a sore throat and a swollen tongue and my breathing was restricted. My friend came and she could smell the too - within minutes of entering the room she started sneezing and wheezing (she has asthma). I mentioned again at reception and they said there had been a previous report of the same issues - that the vents in the room had been looked at and no issue identified. The receptionist then suggested that it could be the carpet. If there was a known issue the room should not have been available.

Check in was not great mix up with rooms then taken to a room that had not been cleaned. Once initial mix up sorted out (bit of a pain when you have three small children with you) our stay was relaxed and fun. The children loved the pool and relaxed dining, breakfast was lovely and good choice. The hotel was easy to get to and to travel around the local area. We ate in the hotel the food was good the service was a little slow and the restaurant was not busy so this could be improved.

Good location and accommodation for the money spent.
Good location and accommodation for the money spent. Others around the area are more expensive but that's expected if you're going into the city. For the location, the price is spot on and plenty of parking. Room was clean which was the important part and the shower was spot on.

Garforth seems a pleasant small town with a selection of shops, pubs and eateries. We enjoyed a meal in The Miners pub where the staff were really friendly. We also had a drink in the Gaping Goose which was an easy walk from the hotel.

great local restaurants, millers steak house across from hotel is over rated, but the Bella Vista in the High street is exceptional,
great local pubs, and leeds is just a few minutes away by train,
with amazing shops and again every type of food you could wish for.

We used the hotel for a place to stay when we went to a concert at roundhay park. We were late arriving to the concert after waiting 2 hours for a taxi due to the distance away from the park and the road closures for the concert. Trying to get a taxi back was even worse. We had to walk for a mile before eventually flagging down a taxi to get back to the hotel.
We picked this hotel because it was close to somewhere we were visiting and it wasn’t a bad price for the night, including breakfast the next morning. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was big enough for a family of 4 and the bathroom was nice and modern and clean. Bed was comfortable. You get plenty of towels. Breakfast was very nice and the waitresses were extremely warm and friendly. It was very organised, no booking, no waiting around. Just what you need when you have kids.
When we arrived we were very disappointed to learn that we had been allocated a double room, when I had stipulated on Booking.com that I wanted a twin room and had not been informed in advance that a twin room was unavailable However, the staff at the hotel, despite being under lots of pressure, as they were shortstaffed with a full hotel, were able to mitigate our issue and came up with a great solution. I was very grateful for the assistance provided and the solution offered
The hotel was clean and tidy, as usually find with Holiday Inn’s. We booked this property due to its location. Rather than heading into Leeds City centre, it was an ideal location to stop here and have Miller and Carter right opposite. This allowed us to continue on the next day with the hassle of a city centre.
Check out at 12:00 was handy, as well as the free onsite parking.
The service was great
staff very friendly
room was very comfortable and extremely clean
Breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from
Social distancing was adhered to
overall i would all i had a good eperience and i would definatley recommend this hotel to family and friend and i will be sure to go again .
Really lovely home in a nice and quiet street close to East Garforth train station. 'Delightful' in the listings name couldn't be more true! Easy check in instructions and were allowed to check in earlier per request. Would definitely book again when back down visiting friends in the area.
The rooms are not spacious just enough for a family of 3, but the staff are very friendly and the breakfast was great!
Excellent location and service, plenty frequent buses to Leeds city and train station.
