It was a last minute decision to book, the welcome at reception was just the start of a perfect stay. I travelled with my son age 8, we dined in the restaurant and the pomegranite and orange salad was amazing, as was the rest of our meal and our breakfast. My son is a fussy eater but was able to order just what he wanted.
We enjoyed the spa facility and managed an afternoon swim as well as a morning one before check out.
My only regret was booking just one night.
My son had aspecial cake as it was his birthday and has already asked if we can return, it's a high quality environment but very welcoming and accepting of children.

The whole hotel was immaculate , as was my room. All the staff i spoke to including reception , dining room bar staff and room prep team and the gardener , were so helpful and polite. I needed an extra night at short notice , the reception team were fantastic, no hassle. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice and specials if you wanted more choice. The outside Italian gardens just across the road ,are immaculatley kept and the outside seating area with the sea view was stunning. the hotels own car park was 40mts away and really handy. Very good Hotel .

Short driving distance from Tenby and Saundersfoot. One pub which was unfortunately closed. Couldnt find local footpaths to walk dog but not a problem for us as we drove out each day. Quiet residential area. Royal Oak Saunersfoot - great food, reasonably priced and lovely friendly staff. Need to book though. Borchester Lilly ponds, Broadhaven beach and Stackpole Quay - beautiful.
