The owners went above and beyond expectations to be accommodating to our needs . Since we needed to leave for the airport before breakfast, they packed us a to go coffee and sandwiches.

Georgian property situated on a lovely street in the centre of Richmond. The hotel is well appointed with a lounge and breakfast area for guests. We booked a large executive double room which was very comfortable, with excellent en suite facilities. All of the hotel was clean, and breakfast was of good quality with a full range of traditional and continental options available. All staff were courteous and friendly during our stay.
Thought to date back to the 1770s, Houndgate Townhouse provides an elegant setting for luxurious en suite accommodations in central Darlington.

Great location - 10 minutes walk from station and very close to town center. Also in a relatively quiet part of the city. The room was large and clean and well appointed. It had a night light in the bathroom for safety. THANK YOU!

Liked the fact we could park in front of property off the road. Liked the local walks we did in the evening, cottage was well equipped and had local pub where you could get take away. Or sit in beer garden for a drink. Very friendly village. Ideal for dales or moors, table and chairs outside property to sit in the evening, owners friendly and welcoming
