Breakfast was continental . Fresh, plentiful and with excellent coffee. There were plenty of seating and tables comfortably arranged.
One of the greatest assets of this property is one of their staff. Kevin ,who manned the front desk, assisted with directions, provided valuable local information concerning hikes,parks, and restaurants and was always available . He was able to manage that exceptional combination of professionalism and genuine friendliness. This establishment would not be the same without this gentleman.

A couple of slight negatives, one is the lack of bike racks to lock our bikes to as we bring them with us every time and it would be nice to know that we had somewhere secure to lock them and secondly, the state of the water as the last time I swam there around the back of Rooms@Mourne in mid October 2022 there were dead crabs and brown foam floating pass me, which I don't think bodes well for water quality so perhaps the local council could do water testing to enable swimmers to make an informed choice as to whether or not to get in as it could be a fabulous asset to the town for both visitors and residents alike if they felt it was safer to swim there.

Dundrum is a small village outside of Newcastle but is well serviced with public transport. Although small there are a number of restaurants and bars, plus a garage beside the accommodation which socks everything you might need for a short stay.
Within 50 minutes from Belfast it’s the perfect place to come to relax and take in the beautiful views across Dundrum bay. Can’t wait to go back at New Year!
