Great location, quite neighborhood, 30-minute walk to the city center. Also, it is a beautifully decorated smart room with designated functional areas for working and dining. The room was very clean, and the kitchen was stocked with essentials like milk plus nice fruit cake. The host is very pleasant and provided a few tips for getting around.

I really like Dundee but have only started visiting fairly recently. Prior to that it was always somewhere we stopped for a quick snack before heading on to Glasgow or Edinburgh.
For my 11 year old, she loves the shopping as we do let her loose by herself (which is not something I would allow in Glasgow or Edinburgh, too big) and I like the culture. The Discovery and the V&A are right next to each and good for a visit. The HMS Unicorn is also worth a visit and we have enjoyed the Science Centre and Camperdown Park previously.
There are some lovely pubs and restaurants, I have never met any rude staff, they are always so lovely and friendly.
Highly recommend a wee visit.

Plenty of things to do and see. We were there for a gig at The Caird Hall love the intimate atmosphere of the venue. Plenty of shops pubs and eating places. Easy to get to although new LEZ might be a bit of a nuisance for city centre things

Well I am going to say it is great going to Dundee as I am an expat.
Not too impressed with the V&A, Lovely building but disappointing inside. McManus is better. Up the Law Hill is well worth the visit even in the cold and wind etc. and Broughty Ferry is great for shopping and pubs etc.

Only a brief visit (open day visit to one of the Universities with son from England). Wish we had longer - lovely small city, friendly atmosphere and very beautiful location. New design museum a must. Will be back to see more of city and area, even if son does not end up at the Uni.

City centre has good museums and nice walks along the river. Good transport and city centre restaurants. Fabulous Thai restaurant next door to hotel, Italian and Indian restaurants short bus/taxi ride away. Good cafes for breakfast. Regular buses to seaside. Would have enjoyed better pubs without football screens. Hotels better for a quiet drink.

Visit Shackleton and Scotts ship Discovery, just outside the hotel, across the road, 5 mins away plus V&A. Also Dundee is where the Beano comic is published and it’s characters are featured in the V&A and in the city.
so close to down town center. we walked easily to Dundee hotspots only short 20 min or so walk. the house was so clean and smelled great . felt like home. kitchen had all amenities ya need with a little washer and drying horse. Hulu smart tv access . well worth the money and the landlord was interactive and easy to get ahold of . I can’t beleive to rave how much I loved the shower area so relaxing . we stayed 14 days it was so hard to go back to the USA. wonderful food options always available downtown Dundee
Great hotel , very clean , comfortable room , comfy bed.Requested a room in a quiet part of the hote and we were given a fabulous room with a view over Dundee , thank you so much .The staff were friendly and accomadating , breakfast good and loads of choice .Hotel very central to shopping area of Dundee , bars , eateries and walking distance to waterfront attractions .
We had a fabulous stay for our Wedding Anniversary and hope to return again soon.
The location is good, it's on the main street in the city centre, but that didn't mean it was noisey at all.
The facilities are alright, maybe it could be better with more but it's ok.
The rooms were fine, they're basic, but you pay a cheap price so that's alright.
Staff were good, and it's a curious place to go to, a weird old building (or two or three) so there's more character than some modern identikit hotel.
I booked the Claredon for a work event, two days before the event, and this was the cheapest hotel I could get by a mile.
I was very impressed, and I would stay again either on my own or with my family.
The bus stop outside goes straight into town, and the Dundee buses are great.
Otherwise, it's an easy 30m walk into town or 10/15m to the university.
It was much better than w we expected. After we booked, we were told that it was only “okay” be friends who had been to Dundee - but we were pleasantly surprised! The rooms were large, very clean! Staff was great. Breakfast (continental) a was very good. Parking was very inexpensive with the discount provided. I would use them again!
Perfect Location with nice views, rooms are really good size and clean, very relaxing bar area and spa area is lovely.
Staff very friendly and they always deliver excellent customer service at all times. I have stayed here before and will stay again in future. I highly recommend Apex Hotel and Spa Dundee to anyone wishing to visit.
loved the design throughout the whole hotel - the quirkiness and how they put the history of Dundee into the design. It was interesting to look around all the different pieces around reception and the room. it’s also a 5 min walk to city centre and local restaurants!
Very central, and it was good to stay in hotel that knew when used to often past through Dundee was in ruins. Amazing grand stairs and coffee bags in room (real coffee for a change!). Amazing light up wardrobe and hidden away kettle was genesis
The Hotel is centrally located and it's very convenient. The bus stop is by the doorstep and most amenities are within a walking distance. The reception was very friendly and very helpful. I can highly recommend Sleeperz Hotel Dundee.
All the staff we encoutered were really friendly , the hotel has a good location to explore Dundee.
A 5min walk to the trainstation, busstation and the waterfront with the museums.
Rooms were a bit cramped but clean.
We had a nice walk around the University of Dundee Botanic Garden across the road but otherwise you would need a car to get anywhere. The location was easy to find. Nice they had a restaurant on site.
Great stay in the hotel which was ideally situated for a few days in Dundee. The room was excellent and the staff were very welcoming. Enjoyed the breakfast and all made for a great stay.
Didn’t have breakfast in hotel, was meeting up with daughter and family in Dundee.
Will definitely use your facilities again, we were very impressed with the hotel and its facilities.
We were attending a wedding near by so location was great for this. The hotel itself was great value for money, it was clean, comfortable and staff were lovely.
Kenny, you were the best! The Clarendon was so comfortable, clean and convenient to all the things we wanted to see in Dundee. Thank you for your hospitality.
