I love the diversity found in Dudley, especially the multi-cultural food, something for every one, sure beat bland british, and that yank fat food muck. Plenty of History to be found here, and all around The Black Country. Well situated for the big city experience in Birmingham, and The Severn Valley is so close you can almost touch it.

Accomodation was very central so parking problems.
Accomodation was very central so parking problems. Short term parking only. Free at night but had to be out and away very early. Town centre very drab like any other old industrial town in decline. Eating out mostly limited to fast food places but found the pearl of Dudley - Olives. Highly recommend. Great food, friendly service. All round excellent.
Black Country Living Museum great place to visit.

This property is very convenient.
This property is very convenient. Its close to lots of shops and restaurants. Unfortunately the property has appliances that don't work as it should. There is no heating but a portable fan heater which is a Health and safety hazard. Microwave does not work, no hairdryer although the website says otherwise. No shampoo or shower gel provided. When complained about it to the management agency answer given was they are using a new housekeeping crew. My partner and I could not shower before visiting our friends and family. As it was Xmas day so everything was closed. Beware its an unmanned building so any problems will be through phone before close of business and any emails sent will have a link for you which does not work and your email will bounce back. The management had an answer for this as well: there is a problem with their links and IT are addressing the issue which should be resolved next week ??? What a shame.

The location of the hotel is excellent.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Easy to find just off the main routes, good transport links with a bus service 50 yards from the door and a train station just down the road. good for visiting Black Country Museum and Dudley Castle and Zoo, both within a 20 minute walk. Cinema and 10 pin bowling just a 10 minute walk away with restaurant chains near by.
It's a clean, comfortable, well-run hotel whose friendly staff personalise what might have been a grimly corporate experience. Rooms have drawers, which is always useful, and TVs with functioning remote controls for a change. Good strong showers. You are within 10 min walk of Dudley town centre, Dudley castle & zoo and the Black Country Living Museum, though the hotel and surrounding area are really set up for motor vehicles.
Close to the centre of Dudley and within easy reach of the Black Country Living Museum and Dudley Zoo and Castle. The room was comfortable and it’s good value for money if you’re looking for a self catering option. My room had a little kitchen area with a sink, toaster and kettle along with cutlery and plates - there is a shared kitchen with a microwave and oven to heat up food. The building itself was quiet too.
When we arrived to check in there was an incident in reception with a drunk guest. The staff member dealt with it well (Nathan). He apologised and offered to upgrade our room to an interconnected room. Our boys were very happy with this. Nathan was very professional and we are very grateful that he took time to consider our needs and ensure we were in a quiet area. Thank you.
We have stayed at this hotel a good few times now and always have the club room, the location is brilliant and just a 2 minute walk across the road to merry hill shopping centre, the rooms are lovely and spacious with a nice big window and nice views. The staff are all friendly and the restaurant and bar area is also great with a good selection of food and drinks.
Do not this this property… we was not sent a pin to access the property. The host never emailed or answered the phone. Had to get a taxi home as the whole of Dudley hotels was fully booked due to the common wealth games. 2 days later and no one has contacted me, received a email asking how was my stay ?? Had to spend £60 to get home. worse experience ever.
Cooking facilities as well as tea/coffee making in the room. Good breakfast, also had a good evening meal there, handy for the main attractions of Dudley, zoo, castle, Black Country Museum, and the market and town hall. TV and shower worked well and easy to use.
Being a Brummie, I really enjoyed returning to my home area - The pub is very traditional, and doing great business, even on a Tuesday night, the hotel room was a pleasant surprise - Clean, comfortable & welcoming
Breakfast was O.K nothing special though.Evening meals very acceptable but very limited choice.
Hotel was very clean in both bedrooms and restaurant. Beds were good ,Staff pleasant , easy parking .
The property was lovely. I didn’t find the codes for the doors hard to understand as some said. It is right by the town centre and a short walk to Dudley Bus Station.
It's in a good location, few steps walk to town centre. It's a very clean and calm property.
Studio was spacious and clean. Cleaning staff was helpful.
