Loch Ness Lodge is truly beautiful. The sitting rooms downstairs with fireplaces are so inviting. Our room is one of the nicest we've ever stayed in - and we travel for months on end. Gabriel, who greeted us and took us to our rooms, treated us with the utmost care and respect - as we noticed he also did with all the guests. He was personable and professional. We cannot compliment him enough. Breakfast was wonderful, presented by the elegant Sonya. This is a truly magical place to stay.
In a beautiful, tranquil location in picturesque Drumnadrochit, beside one of the most famous and romantic stretches of water in the world, this traditional Scottish hotel dates back to around 1740.

Our family had one room in the Highland Bear Lodge and both Bear Huts. First of all, the property is spectacular with lush landscaping, views and just 10-15 minutes to Loch Ness/Urquhart Castle. The room was clean and comfortable with a great continental breakfast in the refrigerator. The Bear Huts were adorable....not so much room for luggage, but really cool! Easy check in/check out. LOVED IT!

The apartment was perfect. It has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, with a gas cooker that I love, it was big enough and also gets warm very fast (it was very cold outside). The hosts very friendly and helpful. It has a private parking also. Only the bed is too small if you are a tall person :) Definitely would recommend this!

Stayed for one evening.
Stayed for one evening. Staff were rude, place was a glorified shed. Road up was hard work on motorbikes. Too far out of town. Grounds were unkept, Sheds were neglected.
Clunebeg too expensive for what it was.

Hotel is very tired and facilities poor.
Hotel is very tired and facilities poor. Hairs in bath as well as shampoo/conditioner. Staff were not really customer focused and not available once they had shown us our room, which did not meet expectation.

Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense.
Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense. For a pretty part of the world it’s a bit scruffy. Very overpriced, Too popular, No bars so you’re ripped off in hotels for a simple drink.
Stay elsewhere if you have taste.
I absolutely loved almost everything about this wonderful hotel! The location is superb, the staff are all so friendly, from the people working in the café, the front of staff in the restaurant, all the other people working serving food, reception staff, cleaners, shop staff, and the artist in residence. They were all so helpful. The room was lovely, clean roomy and well equipped. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!
From the moment we arrived staying at the Drovers Lodge was a pleasure. Angela is the perfect host and the accommodation is very comfortable. The views from the house and the terrace across Loch Ness are beautiful. We had breakfast on the terrace ( yes it was warm and sunny ) which was a nice way to start the day. The breakfast was great with a complete range offered. I would strongly recommend the Drovers Lodge as a place to stay.
Expected just a room but got a little apartment. Clean and comfortable, well equipped and a little bit quirky.
Our host, Sheila, was the best. Really friendly and helpful and happy to have a good chat.
Breakfast was great. Nothing you couldn’t ask for. So much choice.
The Steading is about six miles from Drumnadrochit where there are shops and restaurants, on the road leading to the lovely Glen Affric. Great views and walks.
- A lovely hotel with really friendly, chatty staff.
- The rooms were lovely for the price you pay and the ensuite room has been recently renovated and looked brilliant.
- The beds were really comfy.
- The food in the restaurant and the breakfast was really nice.
- Overall a really good value hotel with lovely staff. I would definitely stay here again if im in the area.
Lovely hosts. Very welcoming and helpful.. Throughout the hotel.
Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and cooked superbly.
Restaurant next-door was of the same high standard.
With Nessieland on the grounds too.. and a wooded area. Overall fantastic. Couldn't of wished for more. Would definitely recommend and would like to return someday.
The staff at the hotel is exceptionally kind and lovely. Really, just a collection of wonderful people who took us in and treated us with such warmth and hospitality. The restaurant's offerings were very tasty, and again, the service staff was super. We enjoyed ducking under the road to take a walk along the Loch Ness.
Beautifull house in the countryside, spacious and well equipped. We loved the flannel bedding! Beds are good sized and we slept amazingly well due to complete silence. Stunning view into the hills. Car can be parked in front of the house. 6 miles to Drumnadrochit to find a supermarket and various restaurants.
Stewart and his family are absolutely wonderful. The house is gorgeous and the room was spacious, comfy, and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. The location is great, feels very secluded and has a beautiful view, but not far from Loch Ness and towns. Probably the best B&B I’ve stayed in.
Not a lot, arrived at 4pm and everything closed up, had to call telephone number I had and told to go to room 16, did not see staff at anytime. Hotel is very dated and nothing was open close by, had to end up phoning for a taxi to go back into town to get some food for dinner.
There is so much to love about Drumbuie Farm! Highland cows; scrumptious breakfast options, a view of Loch Ness; close proximity to restaurants, shopping, and castles; plus hospitable hosts who take the time to offer recommendations on local sights and eateries.
This was an amazing place! We've been traveling in hostels and walking into our room was like walking into a spa hotel. The room was spotless, the shower was wonderful.
The restaurant was fabulous. I would love to come back to Scotland, just to stay here again
The staff and location of the Inn closed to Loch Ness was excellent. The inn and attached pub were great for dining and we enjoyed the Scottish "Jam Session" but some musicians that helped pass the night away. The rooms were nice as was the breakfast.
The location of Four Winds was perfect for us. It is situated in a lovely part of Drumnadrochit in a very quiet and peaceful road with a good view of the hills. Shops and restaurants are all very accessible within walking distance.
Everything. Comfortable flat, incredible views, Donald was lovely and told us about nearby walks and views not far from the Studio itself. Nearby Loch Ness and all the wonderful walks in Glen Affric. Could not recommend more.
The hotel facilities are of a moderate standard. However, the restaurants in the vicinity are of a high standard. Personally, I think it was the best meal I had in Scotland.
Stopped over at Loch Ness Lodge halfway through a trip in a motorhome holiday around Scotland. Wonderful boutique hotel with fantastic breakfast. Supper helpful staff :-)
