Beer, roast dinner and breakfast all great and although the place is a little rough around the edges in terms of decor it has a nice relaxed ambiance and very friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely go back.

Bit quirky but very enjoyable. Gastro-pub with two rooms and an apartment. Very close to Bodnant National Trust Gardens which was our reason for the trip. Gardens and accommodation exceeded expectationsions.
Good base for exploring the area, but not much in Dolgarrog...
Good base for exploring the area, but not much in Dolgarrog itself. We self catered buying food in Tesco in Conwy and Co-op in Llanwrst. On main road so easy to reach activities and walking. Go Below Hero Extreme was a fun day activity for the four of us. Also went canyonning with Snowdonia Adventure Activities. Neither activity for the faint hearted! Both about 30 min drive away.

Location was very good.
Location was very good. Facilities in the area to meet all needs.
First night late arrival due to dreadful traffic and ate from the takeaway, Fusspot. Could not fault the food.
The next night we ate at Y Bedol and again, food and service was very good.
