This was our first time in Dawlish the property we stayed in was 100% but we didn't realise just how much walking was involved, all on the level but my husband cannot walk very far so unless you have access to a mobility scooter would not advise

There are several restaurants in the area and walking in Dawlish was a joy. The black swans and all the numerous other birds were lovely to see. The train station is accessible and allows easy transport up and down the coast. We will be back soon.

Most facilities you'd expect of a small town, with plenty of streets to explore. The beach and town are close together and there are several safe places to cross into the park area which is well tended and attracts children especially because of the wildfowl. We found a several pubs without trying too hard- they are used to tourists, though by no means plasticy artificial places: we met the locals and enjoyed the experience, The Marine Tavern, next to our B+B was mostly uncrowded and very welcoming.
Superb train services to get to other towns and villages, and the coast is well served by buses.

I loved everything except our property the actual park was brilliant and you could never be bored there everything you could wish for just be mindful the properties are not all you think they are until you get inside we must have been one of the unlucky ones entirely of pubs and restaurants and cafes to eat the food is beautiful
The breakfast menu was excellent. Lots of choices and flavoursome.
Fiona and Rob were excellent hosts. Visited during hot weather and the house/room were cool which was refreshing.
The little extra touches ie home made cookies were a reminder of home as was the fresh bottle of water each day.
Also we were collected to and from the train station were was very welcome.
Fiona had a wealth of knowledge about Dawlish and the surrounding area which was very helpful in planning our day.
A small quirky cottage in the older part of Dawlish. A 10 minute riverside walk takes you to shops. beach, rail station and pubs. Off street parking is available nearby which is rare in the centre of Dawlish. The host has excellent local knowledge.
The room is small but comfortable, and there is a lounge available to visitors, with a small outside seating area..
Everything was beautifully clean including a large bath/shower room.
Rob and Fiona are wonderful hosts. Very welcoming. Our room was huge and very comfortable. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, water etc and the home made cookies were a lovely touch. Great variety at breakfast, nothing is too much trouble. The sea view from our balcony was fantastic. Excellent location to Dawlish Town down the hill. Would definitely recommend this lovely accommodation in a beautiful house. Thank you Rob and Fiona.
The property was spot on and was certainly provided us with what we required for a very good short break. The greeting on our arrival was fabulous and having a parking spot directly outside was another additional bonus. We would certainly return to the property if available for any future visits to Dawlish.
The breakfast was very good with fruit, yogurt, cereals, nuts & seeds and a very good cooked selection as well.
Our room had a wonderful view looking over Dawlish to the sea. The room also had extra little treats like cookies.
Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the area.
Beautiful little hotel (B&B) right on the front at Dawlish. Sea view room was a massive WOW, the views incredible, bonus was you got to watch the trains running by as well.. Breakfast was an immense feast and the staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful.. Put it in on your visit list..
Caravan size was excellent. Location was good, although site itself could do with a few more signs as its very large & when we tried to go to through touring caravan fields to Dawlish Warren we got a bit lost on site. Staff at Lady Mile very good though overall, as was bar etc.
Our breakfast was lovely…everything we thought we wanted we had….
Must say the fried bread was so nice…you don’t always get it in other hotels….and my hubby loved his to…it was a lovely hotel and somewhere we will recommend to friends….lovely views of the sea to…..
Excellent location and perfect for a trip to Dawlish
Central location and convenient for the station if coming by train
Updated room with modern fixtures. Very clean and tidy, no complaints
Very good Breakfast offering plenty of choice. All cooked fresh to order
Our room was spacious and comfortable and easily accommodated our family of 3 plus dog. The hotel staff were friendly and generous with their time. Lovely surroundings and had we stayed longer I would have taken advantage of the tennis court and pool.
Location was a great base - very handy bus route to go further afield but also within walking distance of Dawlish and Dawlish Warren.
Secluded and peaceful. Nice little bungalow for a stay away.
Great location and a quirky little property. Lovely decor and an excellent use of a small space. Hosts were friendly & communication excellent. Great for a short visit to Dawlish.
great location in dawlish warren only 15 minute walk to the beach, park was well sign posted and the toilet and shower blocks where clean and in good working order
