We would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Secure bike storage. Now the evening meal was another story! We have been travelling for 6 weeks and Chris’s dinner takes first prize. Exceptional flavours and presentation. Thank you for a great stay.

Visited the islands with my parents on an ancestry trip and Archie & team from the hotel helped us find where our family came from, make some connections on the community, and shared a tonne of great recommendations for things to do and see. So easy to get to after the ferry, Rupert has thought of everything to make you feel welcome (including his own guidebook!), some of the most comfortable beds in all of Scotland!

Only offered self serve continental breakfast but good choice and we were able to make a sandwich to take out with us each day.
All towns in Outer Hebrides are very small. Daliburgh is a great location close enough to multiple harbours and on the main road. The shop has exceptionally long opening hours and is well stocked (Co-op). Buses are running too and fairly frequently. Good walks nearby.

We were actually based on Isle of Lewis, but this accommodation was cheap enough that we could have one extra night on the South islands, to explore the Uists, Benbecula, Eriskay, Barra, and Vatersay without having to rush back for a same day sailing.
Would definitely do the same again, with my next group of travellers.
would recommend nearby Loch Skipport with it's Shetland ponies to anyone visiting, and a trip to Barra to watch the 15 seater plane landing on beach, awesome!
