Lovely reception staff. Great attitude to dogs. Public parking was ok, but Corby is variable in terms of safety. Nice modern hotel.

There is quite a bit of history to Corby if you are prepared to walk about the old town with its quaint old buildings and take the time to read the various notice boards of a heritage nature. The central park and boating lake are well worth a walk round and there is an excellent cafe with a varied menu next to the lake. Nearby you have Rockingham Castle and gardens ( entry charge applicable ) and Kirby Hall( English Heritage ) both well worth a visit. A little farther north there is Rutland Water with its boat trips and watersports areas and the old market town of Oakham nearby.

We had wonderful staff and they were amazing ,especially Melissa who went above and beyond for me,on the night and she’s such a lovely girl.
A cooked breakfast isn’t available,we only found this out on the day of check in that a continental breakfast was the only selection...
I would have liked a bigger selection for the continental breakfast ,it wasn’t well stocked,my guests were disappointed, and hungry,
although we did leave to have a breakfast at a local weatherspoons

Hotel was too far outside the town centre.
Hotel was too far outside the town centre. To walk to the centre was 40 minutes. Nothing much to do around Corby. Had to rely on transport from my friends.
I wouldn't be in a hurry to return to Corby. I will be staying in Northampton 30 minutes drive away or in Birmingham 1 hour drive away next time.

Corby is more or less an industrial place.
Corby is more or less an industrial place. There is absolutely no interesting points in the town itself, apart from an incredible skatepark, Europe`s largest. Nevertheless, there are many interesting sights in driving distance. The small villages in the area are just adorable.
This property was absolutely amazing. The owners are extremely accommodating and offer a wealth of knowledge about the area and all of England in general. When I arrived at the property I was greeted by the owners, they had bread, butter, milk and fresh jam in the fridge waiting. Moat Cottage is located conveniently near both Kettering and Corby and not a far drive from Rushden Lakes making the location perfect for someone who wants to see a bit of everything. The village is charming and the property was everything I hoped for and more.
Very nice and helpful staff and the cleanliness of the place is second to none. Very comfortable room with three shared toilet and shower areas so one of them will always be free and they are always clean and spotless.
A great hotel for a short stay. Very nice people everywhere in this village, nice enough to leave your car in the free car park with a satnav clearly on view and nobody will touch your car.
Retail shopping area is just a five minute walk away as well.
Couldn't fault this hotel for the price, room basic but perfectly adequate. Good sized bed, very very comfortable. Shared toilet and shower facilities plentiful and all located very close to rooms.
Good arrangement for buffet breakfast at the bar, very relaxed. I had mine outside every morning in the beautiful weather.
Staff friendly and helpful. Especially one ;-)
Good beer in the bar.
If I was in the area again I wouldn't consider anywhere else to stay.
From the moment we arrived, we were treated as 'important guests' help with the luggage, to the room. Beautifully styled room. Cleanliness was immaculate. The hotels facilities were amazing. The dining room, hss everything on offer for breakfast. We decided to stay longer
Very impressive interior decor in both hotel and pub. Good staff. Weatherspoons food & drinks are always good vfm. This was such a nice place we would plan future trips around other Spoons hotels.
Good town centre location with shops and parking nearby.
They’re located in one of the best spots to be in Corby, being a small town there isn’t much to offer however Saxon Crown is in arguably the best area for what they do have in Corby. The rooms are being updated and have improved quite a bit.
Warm welcome from Dawn; spotless comfortable and modern room. Quiet location; good links to Corby and surrounding area. Fabulous breakfast. Overall fantastic stay and great value for money.
Could check in and leave when I wanted, many thanks to Barry and Diane. Nice and quiet location, betwixt Kettering and Corby. Milk/butter/coffee/tea and a loaf of bread provided by hosts.
Very nice place to saty in,clean, tidy, quiet and close to all what I need when I am there.
I have been there 2 times and going back again next week.
I highly recommend Corby Guest HOUSE.
Hotel staff were very helpful, the room was spacious and clean, bath was huge. Location was ok for our needs, although I think it's a bit far away from the town centre
The location was perfect for our needs. We were in Corby visiting family. It is a nicely furnished house and is ideal for a family stopover if visiting the area
