Location was a bit out of the way, but thanks to directions from the owners, w found the property OK.
Breakfast was satisfactory, but no option for a hot breakfast - it was DIY all the way.
The rooms were large, with awesome views from the upstairs, but there was no TV in the room (although the owner said that a TV room was the next project). More importantly, the bed was comfortable.

the room was spacious but enoty. It was too big for the furnitue. It needed more furnoture becasue the room waws very large. The hotel as a whole needs some TLC as far as decor. It is under new manage,ent so this may be the reason. The restaurant was good, privately owned.

The staff were the best part of this hotel.
In it's hayday it would have been very grand, but now it needs some investment.

Very comfortable had a good night's sleep, staff were extremely helpful looking for a charger for my partners phone and when she couldn't find one she told us where we could get one.
The young man on reception also helped us with places to go for a drink.
