The hotel and room were lovely as were the staff. The bar, restaurant and common areas were great.
The problems lie with the bed and breakfast. The bed was like laying on stone and the pillows needed some stuffing in them. The breakfast had a good buffet and juice selection and the coffee and tea were good as they were in our room. I had grilled kipper which was hard and cold, it had obviously been cooked a whole ago as was the English breakfast. The fried egg was good but the rest was poor and bacon was hard, mushrooms over done and black pudding wasn't nice. The service at breakfast was excellent but I wouldn't be in a rush to eat there again. Sorry.
