It’s on an exquisite location on the side of Loch Awe. There are little paths around the hotel to private wee spots and nooks on the rocks or in the woods with a little bench or table, where you can update your diary, or look at the scenery, or meditate on the beauty of the place. The trees around are filled with birds And you can hear the soft lowing and bleating from a little farm across the way. We were there at the end of May and of course the sunset takes about four hours and doesn’t finally go down until past 11 so you can sit out at the wee fire pits, sipping your wine or scotch looking at the lake. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. All amenities are offered. and our dinner was just delicious. There’s a very well stocked bar and many lounges with fireplaces.

My wife and I spent two nights here with another couple the building is beautiful the grounds are a little overgrown but really special. The occomodations and staffing were superb, but don't go here expecting all the amenities of a brand new shiny hotel. Part of the character is the furnishings which are a bit older and have some wear and tear, but the staff is great, and the food and drink offerings were great as well

The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The surrounding is so lovely and peaceful. Our host was so kind that she provided us our breakfast earlier than 8 am, so we could go to Oban for the ferry to Mull.

Our stay in the little hut was very lovely and memorable! The hut is super nicely decorated, has everything you need and more, including some
snacks provided as a nice touch. Easy to find with the owner’s directions, you feel like you are completely alone in the nature with a beautiful view, except for some cute sheep grazing around in the morning when you wake up! Just lovely. Thank you for the nice stay.

We chose to stay in Cladich as we had booked a Highland Cow tour at the Cladich Fold. The planned route from Arrochar to Inveraray was scuppered by a landslide but easy alternative route in was just as scenic. About 10 miles from Inveraray to get an evening meal.

Property is situated on a quite country road amidst stunning scenery. Our host was very welcoming and attentative throughout our stay. Our room was comfy, warm and well furnished. The breakfast menu was extensive with a range of hot and cold options. The home made bread was baked daily and delicious. The Cladich is quite central for visiting Argyll & Bute and Glencoe. We visited Inverary, Loch Awe, Kilchurn Castle, Glencoe, Oban and Ardrishiag all of whcih are within a 90 minute drive. You can even watch the highland cows in the field opposite as you have your breakfast.

Highland cows in field across from our window, heaven!
Freshly baked bread in the morning, fabulous!

Clean dry and warm.
Clean dry and warm. Booking.com indicated information indicated that the accommodation offered WiFi and a washing machine. These were available but at a central location rather than in the accommodation. That said I’d go back as the locals, accommodation and location were first class

There's absolutely nothing in Cladich for most tourists.
There's absolutely nothing in Cladich for most tourists. We wanted a quiet place with lots of riverside walks with the dog, but there weren't any that we could find.
Possibly it would be good for fishermen, if they could find the river!

After being at the Cladich house B&B for a night we can only recommend it to everyone. We were greeted by the owner, who was extremely welcoming and went the extra mile to make us comfortable. He even sorted the electric car charger -1st time use- so we could plug in our hybrid car overnight! The bedroom was amazing, spacious and spotless clean, so was the toilet. Breakfast was superb, warm bread was freshly baked for us and Scottish breakfast was cooked when we got downstairs.
