The room was perfect! Super clean and had everything in it we could need. The bed was very comfortable and the TV had loads of choice and plenty to watch. The breakfast was incredible. However the location of the hotel tops the lot directly opposite the pier with a wetherspoons underneath, we didn't hear a peep from the road and crowds of people

It wasn't the prettiest of seaside places but the beaches were lovely. For families with young children there was loads to do. There were nice gardens along the seafront. The shops were everything you would expect in a town. We liked the Princes theatre as it wasn't too big. We had a lovely meal at smugglers cove restaurant, we had the carvery and the turkey was superb. There are plenty of cafes and places to eat..

Clacton can be visited at any time of the year.
Clacton can be visited at any time of the year. It has all the amenities for a beachfront short or long term break. You must be prepared for everything, i.e noise, crowds, kids enjoying the rides. Also some great restaurants and ice cream shops.

We booked “last minute” and from the moment we arrived, the receptionist was excellent, the room was immaculate, the restaurant and the food were great (and so cheap compared to most chain hotels!) the kids breakfasts were only £2.50 for a full breakfast and all breakfasts include continental for free! And free park which is rare around that location. There is a McDonald’s and pizzaHut within a couple of minutes walking distance but I’d highly recommend eating in the restaurant. We will definitely be returning!
Lovely caravan on the end so very peaceful lovely decking and such comfortable beds.
Really nice spacious bathrooms and a lovely seating area with fantastic size telly
Kevin was amazing and so friendly will definitely be returning just a short drive from clacton sea front and the outlets.
A work in progress. This hotel can potentially be a top hotel in Clacton if run properly. Location excellent, staff excellent. Restaurant and bar is good. Breakfast not bad, needs a little improving.
The chap on check in was fabulous, helpful and understanding, a great man, lovely room, warm and wifi great, excellent location, virtually on sea front, no complaints
