Absolutely fabulous place. Lot's to see and do. The cathederal is wonderful as is the canal boat trip. If you like food then there's lots of restaurants here. We visited 4 and they were all good especially Purchases on North Street which was exceptional. There is also a lovely walk around the city on the historical city wall pathway.

We only had a very short trip and could have stayed much longer and done so much more, we thoroughly enjoyed what we did do though. The Bishops Palace garden is beautiful and well worth a visit, we also enjoyed Fishbourne Roman Palace, which is really interesting and has some beautiful gardens and mosaics. Sadly it rained a lot and we couldn't do some of the things we had planned, maybe next time. We visited Tinwood vineyard on our way home and had a delicious lunch and bought some lovely sparkling wine to take home.

Comprehensive shopping and eateries - we found the people really lovely, chatty and happy to help. So much history, lots to see. You must visit Luckes - independent, fabulous food, lovely staff. The Real Eating company - really good coffee, lovely staff. Our first experience was a bit unfortunate but the manager and staff were quick to respond and rectify that - highly recommend them - they have two venues in Chichester.

Our first visit to Chichester, to meet up with relatives who live locally, we had limited time to explore the town. We wandered around, walked on the old city walls, visited an interesting museum with a temporary display of Star Wars toys and of course visited the Cathedral. Chichester has largely retained the old type of 'proper' town centre with individual local shops in addition to the larger chains which makes it more interesting to walk around.

The city centre is very compact with the main shopping areas, bars and restaurants close to the cathedral and within the city walls.
Would recommend the 2.2 mile walk around the old city walls from where you can stop off and enjoy Priory Park and The Bishops Garden.
Pleanty of cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants to choose from. Would recommend The Barn in Little London which is great for coffee and delicious pastries and the food and cocktails at Purchases were fantastic. Lemongrass Thai restaurant in St Pancras was also very good.
An informative and enjoyable guided walk can be booked from the Novium Museum.
Everything was right for a medium price hotel; no frills but clean, efficient and pleasant, with a solid breakfast. The rooms are in an annex set back from the main road; traffic audible but not intrusive. There is a nice garden to sit out in at the back of the main pub. Location convenient for the Roman Villa, the creek-side walk to Dell Quay, and with a bit more effort into Chichester. Staff were helpful in advising on these.
A very comfortable holiday let in a wonderful location--very close to Chichester, yet definitely out in the country. Near a great pub at Dell Quay. Well-equipped kitchen with everything needed for meal prep. Comfy beds, cozy living space, great shower. Jack's a terrific host--easy to get in touch with and very responsive. This was the second time I've stayed at Quay Quarters, and I'll be back the next time I'm in Chichester.
Fabulous hotel in a perfect location in central Chichester. We’ve stayed here several times now and always find it so relaxing. This time I used the gym, which is small but good, and we stayed in the cottage, which is absolutely delightful and has its own entrance and little courtyard. The staff are all lovely, polite and helpful.
This home was really lovely and we felt at home straight away. There were lots of little touches so that you didn't have to have brought everything from home. It was only a ten minute walk into the town centre which was ideal for shopping and eating out. e would definitely book again.
Located in the grounds of the Cathedral in the centre of Chichester with parking included. The bed was really comfortable and the shower facility was excellent. Good range of drinks and snacks in the room. Great views of the city walls and the gardens
Unsmiling Receptionist on arrival did not help the impersonal feel of the hotel. However, all we needed for sightseeing in Chichester with free parking and bus outside door. Restaurant on site, independently run, had cheerful, efficient service.
Lovely property and very comfortable. Excellent location in the centre of Chichester and good quality breakfast. Very good instructions to find the parking but very tight access if you have a big car. Friendly staff. Would definitely use again.
Ideal location, easy walking distance from the town centre and the station. Great to have a studio apartment as an alternative to staying in a hotel. Instructions for the coffee machine would be helpful for anyone who doesn't usually use one.
Very happy with everything. Hotel very clean, staff professional and friendly. The food was fantastic -top marks for the steak! Shout out to the cleaners who left our room spotless every day. Highly recommended for a stay in Chichester.
Julia is a wonderful host. Number 19 Chichester is very conveniently located, just a 15 minute walk to the train station. The rooms are spotless; beds are very comfortable. The breakfasts are amazing. Highly recommend.
Quiet location ,modern and clean, with parking on site.
Only 5 mins drive to centre of Chichester.
Hostess very friendly ,and offered lovely fresh cereal, fruit, and toast for brekkie x
The location is good, nice and quiet but close enough to Chichester central town and to the beach.
Breakfast is very good.
The hotel is cosy with a warm atmosphere.
