Only thing was it was very warm and the only way to adjust this was to open a window.

There are no tea or coffee provided, there isn't a sofa bed it is just a mattress that was left for us under the stairs. The owners require you to leave a deposit of £300 which I still haven't had returned to my account. The pots that are provided are massive and look like they have been used in a restaurant. The toilet cistern makes a funny noise as it is filling up and this goes on all night so that we couldn't sleep. the tvs provided have no connections so effectively do not work.

Beautiful nature reserve to spend hours walking or cycling...
Beautiful nature reserve to spend hours walking or cycling around. You can do fishing here too at designated areas.
Wildlife spotting was fantastic.
You can book to open water swim at the Young Mariners at Cheshunt lake, which I highly recommend.
I liked the location: we could securely park our motorcycles on the premises, the location itself is cut off from the main traffic by the railroad, and also it is walking distance like 5min to the train station where the train takes you to London city center (Liverpool Street) in ca. 30min. The girl at the reception was very friendly and excessively answered all our questions and explained how/what/where to find. I also liked the territory and the camping/nature feel to it. It was quiet. The room was clean and the beds were comfy.
It’s away from the busy city of London and has a lot of stores and parks nearby (about 10 minute walks). The inside is beautifully decorated and there’s a big space to park 2 vehicles outside. The train/tube isn’t far either, only a 20 minute walk. Overall it’s a great location. Heather is a lovely host and checks to see if you’re doing good. She also has cereal, coffee, and tea in the room as well.
Very cheap, very clean and in a good location right by a train station. Looked just like the pictures and staff were very helpful too! Allowed us to use their luggage room as we arrived before check in, and parking was free too which was great!
Exceptional value for a stay near London. Right next to train station. Location is great next to Lee Valley which is a fantastic outdoor area
But it is a youth hostel so its basic but then it was clean and cheap - good self-catering kitchen
Much better for a family of 5 compared to staying in the Travelodge. Able to self cater. Quiet residential area. Easy parking. 5 minutes drive to a train station within easy reach of the city.
Lovely welcoming host and the room was spotless and I got a very comfortable night's sleep will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area for work
