This is our third time at Bovey Castle .. we were among the last group of guests just before lockdown. It’s a special place for us. It’s so beautiful and the staff are great.

Just a ten minutes walk from Station great as I do not drive and short walk from town for shops. Comfortable clean reasonable size room. Lounge and kitchen useful and again clean. Property tidy and appeared well maintained. Continental breakfast very good amd enough choice. Cafe downstairs very interesting with lovely choice of drinks, cakes etc and was obviously very popular with the locals. Finally all staff friendly, helpful and could not be more welcoming.
We had a most pleasant and relaxing stay. The host was welcoming and we loved the accommodation and the facilities. It is a studio apartment but it is spacious and enough for two adults and may be a small child. It is located in a beautiful area and the settings is amazing, with beautiful views from the living room. There are few amenities around but remember it is a rural small village so one should not expect a shopping mall or many shops. There is a local pub with good food, cafe, small shop, enough to get buy. We attended a friends' wedding anniversary so we spent two evening in a pub celebrating. However Fingle Bridge and a castle Drogo are on a doorstep so we spend one day exploring that area too. I would highly recommend this area and this property.
