the staff incredibly nice and helpful. Great quiet location, perfect with toddlers when the sun is out.
The room was large
The food (dinner and breakfast) was a little simplistic but still good and good value for money
We would definitely recommend the place

Chard stock is a lovely
Quiet village, people are friendly. It’s location is lovely and central. No facilities near this, property, but Chard is only about 3 miles away and you have at least three supermarkets there.
Places worth a visit are Forde Abbey and Gardens, Lyme Regis, Seaton Tramway, Sidmouth both for the town and seafront and for the donkey sanctuary which is about 2 miles outside of Sidmouth. Beer Pecorama is worth a visit, where you can experience cream tea in a Pullman carriage.
The coastline on the south coast is spectacular. Heading for the north coast, drive to Bishops Lydeard and soak up some nostalgia on a steam train to Minehead, where the station is almost in the centre, so you can walk to the shops, or the coast and take a later train back. Yeovil ton is only about 30 miles away. The roads are relatively traffic free is you take the lesser roads, but you do get to see some stunning countryside. A place to visit for a fantastic breakfast or indeed other meals is Barleymow’s. On the A30, it’s a farm shop with restaurant, everything is home cooked. The farm shop is well, stocked with lots of home made products. You ca. even take a touring caravan as they have a camping field to the rear of the shop/restaurant.A place to stay and visit which we missed this time, such as Cheddar and Woolley hole. There really is such a lot to,do and mostly within a 30 mile radius.
