I liked the hotel and it was very convenient for my overnight stay in Stroud. It was comfortable and the staff were welcoming. A good bar area with a varied menu of meals - something for everyone.

Beautiful location with a vintage stonewall and oak beam design with excellent bedrooms and bath shower facilities. The tea and coffee provided with biscuits was amazing along with the tasty breakfast within the pub . Will definitely use the royal oak again.
