Location just outside of Edinburgh but easy to get into city centre by using park and ride. Rooms and beds very large. Clear instruction manual. Good information on local places to eat and take always. Room very clean. Great breakfast menu choice. Self check in so no problem if late (which we here due to road closure).

Located in Edinburgh and with Edinburgh Zoo reachable within less than 1 km, The White Lady Wetherspoon provides a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.
We ate at the hotel. The building is old which is a limiting factor despite the efforts of the staff. The highlight of our stay was a visit to Rosslyn Chapel but other than that there were none. Carlops is a very small hamlet with a population of about 80 people only. If you are travelling in East Lothian try and avoid B roads as they are pitted by potholes.
