The room was very comfortable and we were allocated a quieter area of hotel, on booking, as it being a wedding venue, which was very much appreciated.
The Holiday Inn Birmingham North - Cannock is a state-of-the-art hotel with contemporary rooms, a free gym and extensive business facilities, close to the M6.

Cannock is a good base for visiting the surrounding area, including Cannock Chase, and Lichfield which isn't too far away.
I wouldn't recommend it as a holiday destination however ........we were visiting as a family to take our Father on a trip down memory lane.
The Barns Hotel was the perfect accommodation for our needs. Very friendly, clean, excellent service and great food.

I was there two days/two nights for business.
I was there two days/two nights for business. City centre which was a 2 - 3 minute walk was lively & cosmopolitan with market stalls selling fresh produce and also clothing. My business meetings were in High Green Court in the centre of Cannock which offered a range of pleasant shops & eateries. Cannock may not have detained me long for pleasure though that is a value judgement and there appeared to be many attractions in the vicinity if railway hoarding advertising is correct. Wildlife nearby and historical sites of interest.

Everything was all right for an overnight stay
Everything was all right for an overnight stay
Except the convector heater was not working correctly so it was a bit chilly
We have stayed in that room before and it was the same then
Perhaps checking by maintenance could be better

Cannock has good transport and road links, Whilst the M6 Toll is close it does give quick connection times if driving and paying the £6 is not an issue. We needed a base to stay at while travelling around N Birmingham and stayed at a self-catering cottage which was great. The huge Sainsburys and Asda stores meant it was easy to stock up cheaply and their fuel was the cheapest I've seen. I would say that if you are travelling around the area by car as we were you may want to exclude Toll roads from your satnav, or it could get costly.

Great town for shopping and eating
Good location for exploring surrounding area - we visited Lichfield National Memorial Arboretum and Castle Ring. Would have gone to Shugborough Hall and onto Cannock Chase if more time

The hotel staff were v helpful.
The hotel staff were v helpful. The room was changed to by the administration at our request. Also when we told a member of staff the taps in the bathroom needed attention it was reported immediately. The Roadchef outlets attached to the hotel grossly overprice . It lets Days Inn down. It is quite far from the M6 toll
Everything. It was clean and tidy, modern and well maintained. The layout of the apartments meant that you didn’t disturb other residents and they didn’t disturb you. The owners were very thoughtful, keeping in touch with clear instructions throughout the journey and they provided some supplies. There was a very nice restaurant about 5 minutes away and it was convenient for Cannock Chase Forest where we spent a lovely day meeting up with all our family from all over England. Thoroughly recommended and we would use again.
Staff were very helpful and friendly; really couldn't do enough for us. Location was pretty good; a few restaurants around the area and about a 20 minute walk in to central Cannock. Very good value for money considering some hotels that were double the price weren't as centrally located. The hotel has a bar and restaurant and although we didn't partake, the menu looked pretty good
Just idyllic. Stunning setting and beautiful well presented hotel.
It was a quiet night when I stayed so, no bar or restaurant, facilities but they were more than happy to warm up a meal I'd taken with me .
Room spacious, bed massive. Really hot water for bath or shower . .
Can't fault it
Really nice hotel , we booked this last minute as an add on night to our Anniversary trip way . The room was very nice and big with a whirl pool bath.
The whole place was so clean and smelt lovely, really nice restaurant area and food was good . The staff was so friendly and efficient.
The staff were exceptional, room was perfect for what we required, the bed was super comfy, warm, ensuite shower was hot . Will definitely book again the next time we are in Cannock . £8.80 to get a Taxi into the town centre which is good value
The apartments are located a short walk from the town centre. The apartment we stayed in was very comfortable, tidy and had everything you needed for a weekend away. There is also allocated parking for each apartment.
Friendly staff, good location, comfy bed, nice and quiet despite being close to a large road, large room, cheapest hotel I could find at short notice. Cooked breakfast was very good.
The room was comfortable and the facilities were spotlessly clean. The staff were lovely and the food in the cafe was amazing! As for value - I just can't believe how cheap it was!
The shower and bath were nice for the both of us. There was a nice selection of food places next door to the hotel. The staff were very polite for our 2 nights stay.
The rooms were huge and the gentleman checking us in was very welcoming.
If I was in the area again, I would definitely come back.
It was a good hotel for the price.
Nicely renovated old house with character.
Good English breakfast
Friendly staff .
Safe parking behind the hotel gate.
Great one night, stop around Wolverhampton!
.The hotel was exactly as we expected.
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable..
The staff were friendly and helpful plus we got a great breakfast.
