Lovely hosts who made our stay very enjoyable. As soon as we arrived, Deon made dinner reservations for us as it was about that time. Excellent breakfast as well. Convenient to Stirling Castle (if you have a car) and local hikes.

Nice, very safe, well kept, small town with good shops & restaurants, not far from Stirling. Although Roman Camp Hotel is very secluded, it’s actually on the Main Street, on the banks of the river Teith.

Callander is a lovely little town with plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, take-aways and walks. The fisheries are beautiful, plenty of benches to sit at and walks around it.
I had a fish supper from the Frying Dutchman which was superb, and the second night ate at The Riverside Inn which was equally as delicious. All very good prices.
The wine shops are lovely and little gifts shops and plenty of cafes.
The location was good, right on the main street, although a little noisy with the window open. The breakfast was lovely and the two staff brilliant. There were lots of sanitising stations throughout the public areas which inspired confidence. Also noticed that the waiting staff were continually sanitising throughout breakfast service. There are a couple of tables outside in the front garden, great for sitting and reading or ordering a drink whilst you catch a few rays.
Had a great stay at The Crown Hotel this weekend our superior double room was beautiful, clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Food was all fresh and tasted delicious especially the fish and chips. Was lovely to have live entertainment on the Saturday night. All staff welcoming and friendly Special mention to the breakfast staff who are exceptional they don’t let you leave hungry
The cottage is great, it is clean, very well equipped and the location is very good. The host, Hilary is really kind and helpful. She has thought of everything to make your stay pleasant and nice. We have never had such a well equipped kitchen during holidays. You can walk directly from the house on nice paths and with a very short drive it is connected to great walks in the area.
A beautiful, cosy flat in a lovely location in Callander. The flat was so clean, homely, spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Great communication with the hosts- easy to find, park the car and check in. We had a great weekend exploring the area. Lots of lovely walks from the flat and great cafes, pubs and shops close by.
The owners are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great, and when I mentioned that my partner likes scones, Brian, the owner, prepared some for the five o'clock tea.
The location is perfect - the village of callander, which is located in a perfect area for hiking.
The room is large and convenient, with a small kitchen that is well equipped.
Room although small was clean and fresh as was the shower room. Accommodation looked recently refreshed/decorated Staff friendly and helpful.
Outside area under cover available to secure our bicycles.
Owner got up to do us an 8am breakfast even though service didn't start till 9am
Lovely wee apartment which was extremely comfortable, had everything you would need for a short stay and was spotlessly clean. Easy to find and in a good location for exploring Callander and the surrounding area. We'd definitely stay again and would also recommend it to others.
A lovely traditional house - so quiet and peaceful. Close to the Roman Camp hotel where we enjoyed dinner and afternoon tea.
Our host was very welcoming and we enjoyed tea and cake in the garden on arrival.
Close to the Bracklinn Falls - well worth visiting.
A grand Victorian hotel, now owned by a Chinese company [so I am told], and apparently furnished to represent Scotland to Chinese tourists.
It is in the centre of Callender, with ample car parking behind.
Good value, even though facilities were limited.
Even tho is called a hostel is more a hotel standard! For fourpeople we rendered a pod and a room and tehybqhere both amazing! View for the pod is beautiful and you have everything you need there. Very close to Callander City Centre so + for that as well
The years of experience seep through in every detail Dawn provides from breakfast to amenities over to helping finding something to do in the area. Perfect ! On top of that, she is very friendly and doesn’t want you to miss out on anything.
Lovely decor throughout the hotel and very friendly staff!
The room was lovely, clean and comfortable with a nice en-suite.
We were there on a Room Only basis, so unable to comment on the food.
