Cowslip Corner Room with Sea View, hotel in Broad Haven

Featuring garden views, Cowslip Corner Room with Sea View offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 27 km from Oakwood Theme Park.

There is limited accomodation in Druidston along the Pembrokeshire coastal pathway and we were a group of 4 friends walking. Cowslip corner exceeded our expectations. It is cosy and comfortable with everything you need. The beds were great (sleeping in a bunk made me feel like a kid again) and the kitchenette was so useful for a cuppa, particularly as we were provided with orange juice, milk, tea and coffee and Barra Brith cake (mmmm). The setting is lovely with a small deck and it is a 15 min walk down to the Druidston hotel via a bridle pathway. On our way home we saw loads of bats and the rising full moon. Above all, Jan and Rhod and their lovely dog, make you feel so welcome and go out of their way to help including giving one of our party a lift to Little Haven. We loved our stay here.

Castle Hotel Haverfordwest, hotel in Broad Haven

Set in Haverfordwest, within 17 km of Oakwood Theme Park and 24 km of Folly Farm, Castle Hotel Haverfordwest offers accommodation with a restaurant and a bar, and free WiFi throughout the property.

The room was alot bigger than expected, the view was lovely, and even though there was a live band on downstairs, in the room I couldn't hear them, the band was good, the bar was lively and full but not so overcrowded that it was uncomfortable to be in, (I'm a social introvert) people dancing, no dramas and generally just a happy atmosphere all round! Would definitely recommend!

Lovely location for coastal walks. Quality eateries.

Lovely location for coastal walks. Quality eateries. Beach facilities but not commercialised - suitable for children and those looking for quieter scene. Narrow local roads ...worth walking to Norton's Brasserie open 12-11pm for seafood meals but The Galleon at Broadhaven or the fish and chip shop are good. Book a table upstairs to enjoy a view over the bay!

The beach and accommodation was beautiful. Not much else in the town but we ventured all round so if you can drive it is great not recommend otherwise. We visited Tenby, Folly farm (definitely value for money) Pembroke and the Castle, Tresaith beach, whitesands, the blue lagoon. It was all amazing

Quiet little seaside village with just enough amenities there for an excellent stay. Lovely sandy beach with amazing views. Cafe and a couple of bars and restaurants right on the beach serving everything from fresh seafood to local ice creams. When the tide is out you can walk along the beach to little haven which is an oldie Worldie little fishing village.

Very basic and eating places not that wonderful.

Very basic and eating places not that wonderful. If you go to the italian restaurant there please do not have the meatballs. Utterly tasteless and the spaghetti was way overcooked and just a spoonful of sauce. My husband cooks these much much better in our own home.

A beautiful quiet retreat with stunning meadow views and woodland walks as well as beautiful beaches. Easy access to amazing coastal path views. For us it was idyllic. Bird and wild life early morning was lovely. Dog friendly. Plenty of walks. Good parking at either end of the beach and although you pay its not daylight robbery. Access to public toilets that were in good repair and cleaned. Broad Haven itself is a lovely sandy beach which was perfect for swimming kayaks paddleboards etc with Lifeguards. No undertow or rips. Safe family friendly beach. No main supermarket but only a short drive away in Haverford West they have all the big ones. Book restaurants EARLY (I mean a few days) as with current Covid restrictions demand is high. Can't wait to go back as so much more to explore.
