What a wonderful historic house in parkland. Slightly unusual stay as it is a B&B rather than a hotel, but that added to its charm. Put out of your mind a typical B&B and think stately home instead. Staff were excellent. The house is available for booking as a 'party house' for a large group and a great getaway for a big group. Would I stay again ? YES !

The room was very comfortable and we were allocated a quieter area of hotel, on booking, as it being a wedding venue, which was very much appreciated.
An ideal venue for accommodations, conferences, functions and weddings, this hotel is located on the edge of Cannock Chase and is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Facilities as expected, room very clean and smelt nice too
Hotel was lovely and charming. The room was nice and characterful with large exposed beams. The lighting in the bathroom could be brighter. The view into the market square was lovely especially with the Christmas tree and decorations all lit up.. The breakfasts were amazing and we dined in the restaurant one evening and the food was excellent. The hotel staff were very welcoming and the service was very good. They even cooked our dog a sausage for his breakfast. The only down side was being on the top floor. It nearly nearly put our lights out. I would definitely recommend but will request the first floor next time.

Our ‘ quiet ‘ room was at the front on the main road with a single glazed poorly fitted window.
Our first breakfast i had to search for and failed to find a clean tea cup.Had to find staff member at reception.
There was a hair in my fruit compote .
We went to a lovely local cafe for breakfast on our second morning despite having prepaid for it.

If you go to Brewood, make sure you go by car as there's nothing much to do there. The nearest places to see are like 20 minutes away. I went with my partner, the hotel has restaurant and we used that one. Apart from this restaurant we only saw another one across the street and an Indian takeaway, plus a co-op and spar. There's only the canal as far as things to see but weather was awful so we mainly stayed in.

Lumpy uncomfortable bed, a TV remote control that wouldn't work and the need to unplu TV to turn off in order to sleep. No parking, understaffed, no chef arrived to make breakfast and no offer to credit lost breakfast to account. Dissapointing.

the rooms need a little work
the staff including the young man whoi served out in the patio area as well as the young lady who, waited on us, who welcomed us, who sorted any issues we had. this person is a credit not only to the hotel but to her industry as well
Hotel is a lovely quirky building inside. The room was lovely and comfortable. Tea/coffee and biscuits in the room. Room was over looking the front road side, busy little village. Bed was large and comfortable. Meal in the restaurant was delicious, although the starter and main I ordered was not available. Run out of chicken and chef not happy with the scotch egg. Restaurant is a lovely room and cosy for dinner. The staff were all very friendly.
Had a very warm welcome to the hotel, explained where our room was located. Was so surprised when we opened the door, to find a stunning room, 4 poster and fantastic views from the windows. The decor for the whole building is very sympathetic with the age and not over the top. The staff we exceptional and pleasant, happy to explain the history of the building. We will certainly be back for more.

Hot chocolate, tea coffee, biscuits were all available in the room
Room was comfortable and a goos size with a nice bathroom
Food available from the restaurant was very nice, usually this is just an add on but it really felt like going to a nice restaurant rather than a hotel
The hotel itself was excellent, good size rooms, clean bathroom and all normal facilities. The bar was well stocked and the restaurant menu was very good, the food was good quality and well presented. Staff were friendly, knew what they were doing and made good recomendations on food and wine.

Lovely scenic location . Charming and nice hotel . Reasonable room and shower . Clean but no hair dryer or fan in rooms . Breakfast staff was brilliant and the breakfast was amazing nice .
Chole was so helpful we didn’t have no hot water at the start of our stay but they made another room available straight away was a lovely hotel will be returning!
