I liked the Staff, they were friendly and helpful particularly the manager Stacey who helped us out when we had a few complaints about the original room and then helped us change.
The Royal Hotel is a charming Georgian building with its own extensive lawns that extend to Weston-super-Mare’s Promenade. It offers sea views, rooms with free Wi-Fi and a fine restaurant.

Brean has more caravan parks than I have ever seen, I imagine it to be especially busy in high season. It is set along 3 miles of beach, it can be difficult to see the sea from road as so many caravan parks. There are quite a few restaurants and pubs, shops and a bakery dotted around. There are arcades and karaoke bars. Krackers bar very reasonably priced for drinks, very dog friendly!
There is a golf club with nice restaurant that has 15% off food and drink on a Wednesday and free parking.

Staying in the area you need to have money to spend.
Staying in the area you need to have money to spend. Two arcades, and a expensive fairground, soft play and water park. We all agreed that the water park was well worth the cost. Great for young and old alike. On advice from reviews we didn't try the fairground. The soft play looked really good but we simply couldn't afford to spend any more. There is a nice walk if you are fit enough on brean down, further up the road with a WW2 ruins at the end. The bakery was OK but expensive.

Something for everyone, Brean itself is busy & good for families. If you want it a bit quieter then Brean Down is more relaxed. Beaches are lovely & lots of places to eat or just have a drink. Everyone very friendly & helpful

We were only in Brean for a party so stayed one night. Didn't see anything of Brean other than the hotel that we stayed in and the venue that the party was held at. Brean seems to be made up of lots of holiday parks offering caravan holidays. These all seemed to be closed as it was late January so the town had a deserted feeling about it but I can imagine that in the summer when the parks are open it feels very different.

Plenty to do especially for children - beach, splash pool, fair, arcades, park, plenty of takeaways and restaurants and pubs. Not far to travel into Burnham or Weston.
Brean - can highly recommend Gate of India which does not look ‘posh’ but is clean, staff are friendly and food is excellent. Fish and chip shop which is a few doors away from Indian restaurant is good too.
The Railway Inn in Burnham is cheap and cheerful - good food.
Few nice bakeries in Brean and Burnham and on the Brean main road a very cafe - good food at very competitive prices.
Buses into Burnham and Weston
Overall a good place for a family holiday especially if on a budget
never really been a fan of brean but was visiting family, but we found the old rectory an oasis in the middle of brean , the staff were friendly and professional and one thing that stood out was the breakfast, plenty of choice and excellent quality and wish we had taken up the opportunity to enjoy the day time menu as the pub we choose left us all with a bad taste in our mouths “ literally “
I liked how dog friendly it was and our son maybe booking it as he is trying to find a decent place that accepts dogs
The apartment was great. It had everything you could need. It is also in a great location to everything in Brean.
We met the owners of the apartment who were lovely and made sure you had everything you needed. They also supplied a shopping pack, which was brilliant . I would definitely recommend this apartment for your stay in Brean.
The setting and grounds are lovely. Great facilities, friendly staff, comfortable rooms… and amazing breakfast!
Located in the quieter end of Brean made for a lovely peacefull stay but a great base to explore the area.
Not to busy, just right, I don't like busy hotels. Breakfast was lovely, staff girls really friendly. Owners were lovely too. Love the garden with the fish/carp and you could feed them aswell (which was fun).
Always use this apartment when we come to brean great location and the owner is Always helpful if needed and the little things like leaving us milk bread butter and wine is a very nice touch thank you
Good communication with owners. Everything needed and more waiting for us on arrival. Right in the middle of Brean. Everything we needed on our doorstep. Private access to beach. Gated area.
Apartment was modern, clean and tidy. Situated just off the main High Street in Brean, close to amenities but still quiet at night, so, sleeping not an issue.
