The hotel was in a great location in Southwold which is a lovely, unspoilt coastal Suffolk town. The staff were really friendly, chatty and helpful. Apart from the first evening where we enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast, we ate out to enjoy other pubs and restaurants in Southwold, but the breakfasts were excellent.

Well decorated room with comfortable bed. Good variety of teas, coffees and bathroom toiletries. Easy to walk into Southwold and harbour (10mins). Good location for exploring Southwold and the beach.
Good communication as I was contacted to let me know that the facilities were reduced due to flood and how to use key safe access.

Perfect location, walking distance to Walberswick but far enough to feel peaceful solitude.
Great starting point for several walks in the area (we didn’t have to pick up the car in 3 days and went as far as Covehithe!)
Spacious room with good views both sides. Very comfortable bed, great walk-in shower, the cereal and bagels etc were a nice touch.
It’s a fantastic spot and we would love to come back!
