The location is perfect, right on the harbour front. The staff were very helpful and informed me in good time that we could find a key to our room in a look box at the front door should we require a later check in. This was great as it was our last day on Mull and we were keen to stay out exploring in the afternoon before heading to the guest house.
Breakfast was also really good with a nice selection of food.
The cottage was lovely with views over to Mull.
It was beautifully furnished and had all items you would look for in a self-catered property.
I would recommend that you bring food with you, as the nearest shop was about a 30 minute drive away

A beautiful old mill steading refurbished with obvious love and attention to detail. Great views from the upstairs window over to Mull. A wide and diverse range of artwork on the walls.
It is quite a distance to the nearest shop so you need to come prepared, although our hosts did provide some lovely fresh salad leaves and herbs from their garden. Due to Covid, most of the places to eat in Lochaline were closed but the Whitehouse Restaurant has a fabulous reputation.
