Fab place to stay. Jim came down from his house next door to greet us at 11pm on the night of our arrival. So lovely of him and such a nice spot to stay. Kitchen and sitting room to use also. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a very nice, comfortable and spacious room. We felt good staying in Field view, surrounded by nature and peace. Our host John - you can see that he is a good person with a big heart, he tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible (if needed) and he does everything with a smile and such good energy that is contagious 😁

There is a number of great places to eat in Banbridge. My 3 favorites are Safari Grill, Downshire Hotel and Blend and Batch. There is a big outlet shopping mall and plenty of other big named brand shops both in the town and up at the mall.

The Bannside Riverside Walk and Solitude Park are not to be missed if in the area.
My ancestors lived and worked in the area and I was able readily access the relevant historic churches, graveyards etc with no time constraints. Beautiful town and surrounding areas that make you realise it was other things that meant the people left. The beauty of this peaceful place belies the social history.

First time in Banbridge, but we enjoyed it. We ate at a couple of establishments whilst we were there. A new shopping mall with an M&S outlet and a Next outlet has recently opened, there is a huge Tesco there.
