Location and comfort. Food was excellent in the pub. There was a problem with the hot water in the morning, however once it was reported we were recompensed and an engineer was on site quickly.

Excellent stay. Rooms modern and clean. Staff friendly and attentive. I had to wait for a month for the prices to come down to an acceptable level.

Located just half a mile from Pitlochry town centre with complimentary WiFi and parking, the privately owned and run The Acarsaid - Pitlochry offers a quiet retreat in Highland Pertshire.
The peace and quiet of the location. Great restaurant serving delicious food.
More attention to detail needs to be sown in the cleaning of the suite. Dirty glass on log burner. No large place mats for the dining table and ring marks on the coffee table.

The log cabin hotel was great, it had all you needed in it.
The log cabin hotel was great, it had all you needed in it. The only critisisms I had was perhaps the room we had required a new mattress as it wasnt very comfortable & the hot tub area was open so pets could easily go into neighbours private spaces, perhaps closing this would be a good idea.
The area itself was amazing, especially for dog walking or just a casual walk, views were incredible.
The little village (walking distance) was lovely & people were very friendly.
The restaurant /bar on site was really good, opens for lunch/dinner & stays open late. Food was good & the owners were friendly, accomodating & couldnt do enough for you (also a big plus was its dog friendly & they are going to try a dog menu from Tails)
We had a great weekend away & will definitely be returning.
We would recommend this place to anyone wanteing a wee break away with beautiful serene views & walking areas.

Beautiful area with plenty of outdoor activities.
Beautiful area with plenty of outdoor activities.
There isn't a lot to do in the village itself, but if you are looking for amazing nature, good walks, beautiful drives and views, then this is a great base to start from.
The Cairngorms are stunning and there are plenty of outdoors activities to do like hiking, biking and skiing in the winter.
