The Castle Bed & Breakfast, hotel in Ballintoy

Just a 12-minute walk from Ballintoy Harbour and 0.7 miles from Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, The Castle Bed & Breakfast features accommodations in Ballintoy, with a garden and a shared lounge.

A nice lady greeted us and provided us with an excellent cooked breakfast & toast the next day. The B&B was clean, neat and tidy. Our room was very spacious. The location was superb with free on site parking. It was about 5 minutes' walk to the main street where we had a nice dinner at the Fullerton Arms. In the pub there was a room with excellent Game of Thrones decor. We also walked from the B&B to the harbour where there was a cafe and a beach. There was a sign that indicated some scenes of Game of Thrones were filmed in the area. The walk was down a steep hill. Cars can be driven towards the harbour and there was parking by the cafe. The B&B owner was friendly. Ballintoy was a lovely place to visit.

Dunnaglea Cottage, Ballintoy, hotel in Ballintoy

Just a 13-minute walk from Ballintoy Harbour and 0.8 miles from Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunnaglea Cottage, Ballintoy features accommodations in Ballintoy with a garden.

We have been traveling around Ireland for the past two weeks staying in Airbnb’s and Booking.com’s and this was the most fabulous place of all of them. Most amazing! We felt like we had stepped into a home featured in a decorating magazine! After a long drive from Donegal, we were thrilled to open the door to this beautiful period cottage. This home is very close to the Giant’s Causeway ,the Carrick-a-Rede bridge,Dunluce Castle,Dark Hedges and many more interesting sites. We just had to walk about a block and we were on a hiking path close to the sea that could’ve gone on forever. The attention paid to detail is absolute perfection. Kate’s cottage has everything that you would ever need, but most important it has charm and coziness. The beds were so comfortable, the living room so inviting with the fireplace, and the kitchen had everything to make a gourmet meal. The scenery outside the windows was stunning and Kate must be an absolutely fanatical gardener because the flowers and shrubbery are stunning. We were sorry we had to leave after only staying one night and I have dreams of going back and renting the place for a week in the future. Kate was absolutely charming and concerned about everything. On the kitchen table was a plate of fresh homemade scones, which we devoured for breakfast the next day.Delicious! A lovely lady and a most stunning home. Thank you Dear Kate!

The Woods at Whitepark Bay, hotel in Ballintoy

A 17-minute walk from Whitepark Bay Beach in Ballintoy, The Woods at Whitepark Bay features accommodations with access to a hot tub. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

I couldn't say enough about the place!! It was our favorite out of our stay in Northern Ireland and R.O.Ireland. The accommodations were over and above. Easy and detailed access to get in and even helpful directions depening on where your coming from. Arrival to Champagne, as we were celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary. We had everything we needed and more for breakfast, local snacks, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, etc! Everything is as scene in photos and gorgeous inside. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. We did even make use of the private hot tub in the back while gazing at the stars. I HIGHLY recommend to stay and its located in between 2 small easy accessable down town areas where we could pick up groceries to make our own lunches and dinner in the kitchen where we found everything we needed. Also located right in the middle of tourist views and castle ruins. It's by far one of the my favorite places and can't wait to come back! thank you Steve and Emily for being excellent hosts! White Park Bay Youth Hostel, hotel in Ballintoy

Located 2.2 mi from Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge in Ballintoy, Whitepark Bay features free WiFi access and free private parking. Rooms have a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower.

Location and views are amazing. Recommend staying there for at least 2 nights to fully appreciate and enjoy and soak it all in. Especially given the weather changes so much so you want at least a few hours every day when it's not raining. 5 miles or less to Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge, Ballintoy Harbour, and less than 10 miles from Ballycastle and Fairhead. The location is unbeatable! The beach is gorgeous, and the cows there are especially neat. Angela, who checked us in and was the manager for most of our 3 nights , was very friendly and helpful.

We were staying at the Castle B&B for one night with early start for the Giants Causeway. We walked down to the harbour for a beautiful sunset and great photo opportunities. There were some interesting birds to photograph and the setting sun made the sea look like molten copper. It was a perfect evening.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves ocean and island views and wonderful sunsets. Spotless and comfortable accommodation. Good wifi. Only downside for orange mobile phone users is no signal in house or Main Street. Top tip is that you can get signal in the churchyard of the beautiful white church or anywhere below that to the wonderful harbour.

Our accommodation, The Castle B&B, is situated in an ideal location for anyone wishing to enjoy the walks, the breathtaking scenery and the lovely harbour. Donagh McShane, who runs the B&B, is a very friendly and witty guy and we enjoyed a good laugh with him……and he even gifted us a bag of his home grown potatoes (which were delicious) as we headed for home. Whitepark Bay is easily accessed from the harbour although the little village of Ballintoy has little to offer in the way of amenities.

Visit the North Coast a lot but new to Ballintoy and it’s so charming. Quiet & peaceful with beautiful walks and views, there’s a couple of small cafes near the harbour and restaurant in the little village. It’s small and quiet, not one for nightlife at all - plenty of places a taxi away if that’s what you’re after.

Ballintoy harbour - keep left and you can go on a beautiful coastal walk for miles . Be careful of tide changes if you do the long walk. The Red Door cafe is great . Great views and beautiful chowder and homemade desserts . Sit and relax with a coffee or wine . In Ballintoy you can stay in hotels b&b”s or little cottages . Note. Bring cash as one bar only has card machine until 8.30. Also no ATM”s .

Great location near giants causeway, dark hedges and other sites. The lodgings are in a separate building behind the pub. The double bunks in the family room were perfect for giving our kids their own space! Surprisingly quiet room—couldn’t hear any noise from the pub/restaurant even though it was a busy night. We enjoyed the made to order breakfast options. Good dinner in the restaurant, too.

There is a restaurant/bar attached to the property which made it super convenient to have a relaxing dinner after a long hiking day. The staff were helpful and friendly.
