The staff were lovely, down to earth and very welcoming. The food was amazing and decently priced. Mostly the room was ok, ok sized and had mostly everything that was needed including a TV. The hotel is in a great location and easy to get to. The atmosphere is very homely and inviting, the bar area and seating was clean. Again to speak of the food, the food exceeded our expectations and food was brought to us at a decent time. Prices for drinks were good too.

We were made to feel incredibly welcome. We arrived very early in the morning and our room had already been prepared and was ready for us. Which was not expected but so appreciated! The breakfast was sooo tasty and all the touches in the room like the nespresso coffee machine and biscuits. The decor was modern and stylish throughout. Despite there pub being fully booked and buzzing downstairs we had a quiet and comfortable night in our room. Couldn’t recommend staying more highly. The location was also fab!

Beautiful scenery on the walks to Loch Lomond shores, if you can get on the boat tour then I would definitely recommend, so tranquil. The Tullie Inn is directly next to the train station and across the road is the boat trips booking office. We’ve stayed here a few times. Pleasant staff, cosy, comfortable and clean spacious rooms.

We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch.
We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch. Easy access to parking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food good and great variety. The only downside is there is no sitting area away from the restaurant at night. Could do with a little bar to have a quiet drink before going to bed. You can easily access anywhere else in the Balloch area.

Apart from the House of Fraser shopping centre there was not much else. Ideal for walking an=round the area but the town itself is in need of investment as it was pretty shabby, poor example of the gateway to Loch Lomond

The location was ideal for me, just a short bus ride from my son's home and close to Alexandria town centre, Balloch and the bus stop. My host was very kind and welcoming. My little room was spotless and very well equipped with hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was enough to feed a family of five! I was delighted to find a single room at such a reasonable price, enabling me to visit my son and his family who do not have room to put me up for the night.
Absolutely stunning property that sits behind a 1930’s Art Deco (former) hotel. Property has been finished to an extremely high standard and is completely kitted out with everything you would want (if not more) on a home away from home stay. Lot’s of added touches like toiletries, tissues, washing up liquids etc. Master bedroom is massive and has a beautiful en suite. Smaller bedroom equally lovely/cosy. What a fabulous find on booking.com. Truly wonderful place to stay and enjoy beautiful Balloch.
Lovely warm welcome by Andrea. Room was spacious with quality furniture and soft furnishings. Bathroom was a really good size and had everything we needed. Bed was the comfiest we had in 9 days around Scotland and breakfast was excellent. We were also given a spare set of keys so we could leave and pick up our luggage on the afternoon of checkout. Location was close to train station and bus stop for backpackers and easy walk to pubs, shops and restaurants.
The hotel room was amazing with plenty of space and excellent amenities. The beds were extremely comfy.
The restaurant was great, the food was of a high standard and the chef was very accessible.
The staff were exceptional. Dez leads a fantastic team with Isabelle by his side . They both made our time personal to us checking in on us all.
I can’t wait to go back
Big clean room with a well-stocked kitchen and living space. Comfortable bed. Loved having access to a washer and dryer. Gordon was very helpful getting me checked in and talking through some nearby attractions to check out. Property is stunningly gorgeous with a beautiful sheep farm next door.
Beautiful town house with all the facilities needed to make your stay very comfortable. Views over the Loch are beautiful and patio area and first floor balcony are lovely area to enjoy the peaceful views of the loch. Great parking and easy walk to Duck Bay and Cameron House Hotel.
The property is centrally located in Balloch for Loch Lomond and local amenities. Kevin & Elaine are fantastic hosts. We had an attic room that was spacious and ideal for us. The breakfast was delicious and filling. When we are next in the area, this will be our first port of call.
We found the staff very friendly and willing to help with anything we asked. The hotel was ideally located for seeing the local sights. We were there to get my spouse to hospital first thing for a surgery and it was perfect.
The room was well decorated with a comfortable bed.
Gillian and Brian were the BEST hosts. They gave us advice on where to hike and even provided wellies for us to use. They were so friendly and attentive, and our son had a great time playing with their children. Their location is a beautiful and relaxing setting as well.
The Queen of the Loch is perfectly located for a stay at Balloch on the shores of Loch Lomond. Its easy to get to and with in walking distance of all local attractions. The staff are very professional and friendly. Plenty of parking. Resonably priced restsurant and bar.
We had dinner and breakfast at the Tullie Inn and both were superb. The hotel has a modern yet traditional feel to it, brilliantly located in the centre of Balloch. Staff were so welcoming and friendly, and it was brilliant value for money.
The upgraded room was absolutely beautiful as it looked into the loch. The room was immaculate, modern and very comfortable. The hotel interior was extremely elegant and the reception staff were extremely helpful and professional.
Nice, clean modern room with a fridge. Very quiet. Beautiful setting. Lesley the proprietor was extremely warm, welcoming and nice. One of the nicest hosts we have met in three weeks in Scotland.
Incredible Scottish breakfast and a super nice and welcoming lady. I would suggest to any friends to come here, because I had a such genuine experience that I never found even in 5 stars hotel.
Nice place clean and tidy, plenty of milk coffee etc definitely would recommend it and I would come again if staying in balloch as it not far from train station
Dog friendly, the dog was made comfortable with an appropriately sized dog beg waiting for us with treats and a bowl.
