Very comfortable and clean room. Great location, Host was very helpful and received us cheerfully. Well appointed facilities. Breakfast was great, very filling. Great tip for dinner.
Rural area. Lovely views. Settle is a short drive away which is handy for pubs, shopping and fuel top up. Well placed for Lancaster and similar. Nice pub, restaurant and cream tea on door step. Post office in the village but we didn't use it. Great for all sort of walks and peace and quiet.

Lovely part of the Yorkshire Dales. Lots of stunning walks.
Lovely part of the Yorkshire Dales. Lots of stunning walks. We were blessed with gorgeous weather as well. We stayed at The Game Cock Inn which was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The food was really nice and the breakfast was superb. The yummy bakery attached to the pub was an added bonus with Delicious homemade tarts and a selection of different breads We also wandered down the road to The Traddock ( A Yorkshire Dales Hotel and Restaurant) which was beautiful, with stunning gardens and friendly staff too.
Lovely hotel like staying at a country house. Great room with views of the garden, felt relaxing and welcoming. The staff are lovely the lady on reception warm and friendly and the bar staff are superb. We had a huge lunch enroute so did not eat in the restaurant which was a shame as breakfast was very good. We had rather a lot of gin and tonics in the bar with two friends who run G and T restaurant in Ingleton and then sat and chatted to a local builder. A very good evening.
Excellent location, quiet and private in the lovely village of Austwick. The village had well stocked shop for food supplies etc and the food in the local pub was excellent and within easy walking distance. The Coach House was very well appointed with a very good kitchen and two bedrooms, both ensuite, very important when holidaying with friends. Plenty of parking on site for two or more cars.
We booked this accommodation due to its proximity to the 3 peaks, the location of the pub was set in the beautiful Austwick. On arrival the staff were very helpful and polite, the evening meal was amazing lovely and the breakfast was also really nice with a great choice. The rooms were very clean and the finishing touches were nice.
Been here quite a few times now so they must be doing something right. Sunday roast is delicious with lovely veg. Peaceful surroundings, perfect for rest and the Austwick to Feizor walk is a not to demanding four miles taking in the tea room, open views of Pen Y Ghent and interesting woods where orchids can be found in Spring.
Location! Location! Location! Wonderful small inn located in a wonderful Yorkshire village. The inn can be reached by foot, bus or car. We walked there and enjoyed a delicious dinner before retiring to a really, lovely bedroom looking out over the Yorkshire Dales. Very clean. Very quiet. Very restful.
The breakfast was fantastic! The staff were all amazing! So so helpful and friendly. Allowing dogs to stay too made a big difference to us and the main reason we chose to stay. The biggest plus was the bed! EXTREMELY comfortable! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Delighted!
Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Fresh fruit, juice, milk and conversation every single morning. I very much looked forward to speaking with them and the other guests every day….. We were quite impressed with our hosts and Austwick Hall. We hope to come back visit.
Charming and lovely pub/hotel in the lovely little village of Austwick. Rooms beautifullly decorated with a top end boutique style.
Staff are caring friendly and attentive and the whole stay was out of this world. Food lovely too.
Highly recommended.
The cottage was very clean, has very nice lounge and furniture, a lovely, well equipped kitchen and great bedrooms/bathrooms and beds!
It is situated very centrally in Austwick, right next to a superb pub.
My husband and I enjoyed everything from the location to the very helpful and friendly staff. Brilliant food and beautiful bedroom. The whole hotel is so warm and inviting. We will definitely visit again.
