The tea bags provided were of a good quality. Along with the biscuits and water.
They also provided toiletries for showering.

Swimming pool was included within the room rate, and looked very pleasant. The spa had a cafe area and seemed comfortable. Staff were friendly.

Laxton is a wonderful village in Notts and the accommodation at the Dovecote was first-class. We were attending a family get together in a nearby village. The continental breakfast in the room was more than adequate and suited our plans entirely. We will be coming back to explore the village further and partake of a meal in the pub.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful and nothing is too much trouble for Shaan and Sef to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The little touches are just amazing, nail polish remover was put in our room for my partner as they knew we were attending a wedding. Views out of the bedroom to fields with sheep was lovely to wake up to. Breakfast was superb with some bonus fruity granola. Looking for an excuse to come stay again!

There was donkey, sheep, goose and 3 cats on site. Very nice to go and see. We had nice walk around the village, had a meal in duke William. We had drive out to few places and had meal at queens hotel at east Markham which was very nice and excellent value for money. The owners of barn are lovely if you had a problem or wanted to know anything they was there to help.
