Melissa was looking out for us and was really helpful in guiding the car parking. It is an unusually steep and narrow entrance so that was appreciated. We were given a warm welcome with tips about possible places to eat later. The room was pleasant and comfortable with a view over the loch. Breakfast was a good Scottish fry up. Melissa was friendly at every exchange and we met the chef (!) briefly too. We’d go again.

When I booked, the online staff was so generous and helpful.
Hotel setting is very picturesque. Staff was great and very friendly. Massive credit to the chap on reception / booking in, super friendly and top advise on the area. Also spent his own time after work doing a quick go on bagpipes which really made it for us. Really deserves a mention and credit to the hotel.

Arrochar is small but pretty, and it's location is superb in two ways - 1) beautiful location at the head of Long Long and the hills behind, including the wonderful "Cobbler" (Ben Arthur); 2) Great stopping off point for longer journeys north - it's only 3 minutes drive (1.6 miles from the A 82 main road to the north.

Stunning scenery, great walks . Lots of nice place's to eat.
Stunning scenery, great walks . Lots of nice place's to eat. Most places welcome dogs. Nice friendly local people. If you want to relax in nature this is the place to go. We stayed in the Village Inn. Great food spotless comfortable accommodation and friendly efficient staff. Very dog friendly.
The hotel is situated perfectly on the banks of Loch Long with spectacular view of the loch and the hillside beyond. The room was spacious, immaculate and well appointed. The Loch view description did not disappoint, even in the poor weather I arrived in. The local village contains a small number of options for food, but Ben Arthurs Bothy next door served a great meal and pint at a good price.
- Paul was so kind and lovely during our stay. He was supplied us with information and brochures about tourism and attractions.
- The breakfast was so delicious and the vegetarian sausages and yogurts were the best sausages we have eaten in the Whole UK.
- The room was good with a wonderful view on loch long.
- Very good location
- Definitely we will return again

Everything. What a fantastic home in a beautiful area. Have been holidaying in Loch lomond for 20+ years, and this is by far the nest location i have stayed in.
Village inn down the road for bevy and a scran and plenty more bars/hotels and restaurants a 5/10min walk away. Fishing on the pier (caught 3 Mackeral no big deal guys).
Genuinely canny wait to come back.
A little gem, nestled on the northern banks of Loch Lomond. The chalet was beautifully presented with quirky touches with a Scottish flavour. Views of hills and Loch. Hotel with delicious food on site. Water-sport activities available in season. Five minutes to train station to access even more variety. Superb location to just relax or venture further afield.
Thought the hotel was value for money the room was tidy and clean with just the basic essential which is expected for the price , breakfast was great plenty of options from the continental section and the hot food items aswell can have as much as you want visit arrochar regularly for hill walking and will definitely be staying here again
Delightful cottage in village centre. Room was lovely and cosy with views over Loch Long. Friendly hosts and great breakfast. Only here for one night on way back home from further north. Had visited Arrochar previously for a longer stay in a different establishment but when I return to the area I will seek a room at Rowantreebank.
Glebe Country House is a very nice example of a classic B&B. Bernadette, the host, gave a very friendly welcome. She has lavished every corner with very nice details, and the finishes and furnishings are excellent. The setting is lovely and quiet, with a view from the front bedrooms of Loch Lomond. Breakfast was terrific.
Clean. All amenities present. Nice view on Loch Long and the Arrochar Alps. At the back of the house there is a narrow, but nice seating area with a hot tub. the Village Inn pub is very nice and close to the cottage. Good location for exploring the Loch Lomond area and Arrochar Alps.
This place is fabulous! We loved everything about it. Close to a pub, a small grocery store, a fish & chips shop and right over Loch Lomond. The views were amazing and the place was beautifully decorated. Loved it so much!
The hotel is located in an amazing location, with fantastic views down the length of Loch Long. Breakfast and evening three course meals were excellent. Room extremely spacious and well cleaned.
Beautiful location along Loch Long, near a lovely little town , able to walk to Loch Lomond and lots of hiking trails. The hotel was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Nice atmosphere. Light airy clean room with beautiful view. Nice dinner. Was pleasantly surprised after reading all the poor reviews. We liked the hotel. Would come back
The hotels location was excellent right at the top of Loch Long. Our room was clean and spacious, with a view of the loch.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
