It was very central. The staff was as friendly as can be both at check-in and dinner and breakfast.
It was very nice to have the dining room right there and the food was good. Even though it was right at an intersection, it was very quiet at night.
Set in 120 acres of scenic Fife countryside, Kilconquhar Castle Estate features a heated indoor swimming pool, horse riding facilities and a salon with on-site health and beauty specialists.

The walks in this part of the country are stunning as are the beaches if you get the weather! And there's never a shortage of good places to eat. If you have a furry friend, the majority of the shops and restaurants are pet friendly.

Anstruther is a lovely and lively little town in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife. It has a very picturesque harbour, good eating places, including the wonderful and award-winning Anstruther Fish Bar, a number of interesting shops and a well-stocked Co-op. It is within easy reach of other lovely little East Neuk towns/villages, including St Monans, Pittenweem and Crail, and the university town of St Andrews, which is a must for visitors to the area. The RNLI shop at Anstruther harbour has a really good selection of little presents to take home to loved ones, including the iconic yellow wellies for little feet!

Anstruther is a beautiful town, but can be very busy in summer months.
Great for a walking holiday along Fife coastal path but it is not mobility scooter friendly with narrow pavements and no dropped kerbs.
Great selection of fish and chip shops and small cafes.

The cottage was in a great position for a view of Anstruther and a 5min drive to the seaside front was ideal.
Anstruther is a great fishing village, with plenty of cafes and restaurants for all needs, with easy access and parking along the front, with a 5min drive either way to other quaint fishing villages.
Haddock & chips was perfect. ;)
Wonderful large room overlooking the small harbor. Large windows on 2 sides, everything had been updated to a very high standard. Bathroom was very well done. The breakfast was superb with wide variety of offerings and cooked to order. The cozy restaurant served delicious food. Anstruther is a small village and so much better for us than the crazy traffic and noise in St. Andrews. Stay in Anstruther, enjoy the harbor and walking around the town. If you must go the St. Andrews it's just a 20 min. drive away.
It was perfection. Finished to the highest standard. So many lovely personal touches. The welcome basket was so nice. Mum loved the cake & biscuits, i loved the wine. Walkable down to the pub in Cellardyke and along to anstruther. ( if unlike me you dont have an 88yr old with you) Bed was comfy and got a great sleep. Communication with Jules was great. Probably one of the nicest apartments i have ever stayed in and i travel a lot!! Very very highly recommended!!
Close to the harbour in Anstruther, spacious and well-equipped, and the outside seating area is a bonus (if it isn’t raining). The house has lots of children’s books and games, which we didn’t use but would be great for a family with younger children. The kitchen was well-equipped and the TV and Wi-Fi worked very well. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the showers worked well. The Dreel Tavern across the road is a great location for dinner.
Great quiet location, close to sea swimming area and short walk to Anstruther harbour. Tastefully decorated, effective heating, good wifi and a lovely view out to sea. Kitchen included washing up liquid, cloths and T towels with a small selection of teas and coffees. Lovely cotton sheets and plenty of toilet rolls!
Sea breeze is beautifully decorated and super clean. It’s in a great location if you’re staying around anstruther, 5 mins to the local restaurants etc. We were in the area for a wedding so didn’t get to see as much as we’d like to but had a lovely time in the time we spent there.
We were there for a 2 night stay celebrating my70th birthday this is our go to place when we go to anstruther this is the5th time we have stayed going bk sometime this year again I received a £100 voucher for my birthday love the bank it does what it says on the tin Anna Fraser
Lovely stone cottage, close to sea/beaches, nestled in the beautiful village of Anstruther. Off street parking , outside seating . Inside all besutifully decorated, great showers and comfy super beds. A plentiful supply of dishes and cutlery in a lovely big kitchen.
Nice cosy room. A very good shower in the shower-room. Excellent central location. Free parking in nearby car park. Free parking until 8am just outside the hotel (limited number of spaces). The Fisheries Museum in Anstruther is big, and well worth visiting!
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this hotel. It is in an ideal spot with sea views and central to Crail amenities. Dinners and breakfasts were excellent. We will be back. Room was exceptional.
Absolutely loved everything about this chick apartment. The location couldn’t be better right in the heart of gorgeous Anstruther. Spacious, stylish and well equipped. Staying in this apartment has been one of the highlights of our trip.
clean and friendly, better than any hotel nearby.
the bed was extremely comfortable and the view from our room was right out to the open ocean. spacious kitchen fully stocked with anything you might need.
ideally located, Brackness House is prefect for exploring Fife. Robert and Catriona were excellent hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. The big Scottish breakfast and the showers were fantastic!
Cleanliness and location were perfect for us. Close to the beautiful coastal path and also local restaurants and grocery store. Multiple golf courses nearby and a short scenic drive to Saint Andrews.
it was very high end in terms of linens bathroom facilities a nice garden and 5 minutes away. from Anstruther the.breakfast was outstanding and the owner very obliging and excellent attitude
The location was convenient for walking into Anstruther to catch buses or for places to eat. The Fife coastal path was only a short distance away. The property was very clean.
Great location for exploring Fife region. Helpful staff. Appreciated the owner adjusted breakfast as it was not meeting my wife´s needs and added some yoghurt and fruits.
