I rented two rooms and one of the rooms the electrical did not work which included the lamp sockets and the TV. All the property did was say they were sorry but that’s how it goes tough luck.

a beautiful friendly village, with bespoke shops and lovely bars.. something for everyone.easy to get to from neighbouring towns and to the M6, both J15 and J16. We stayed at the Manor House hotel, 5 minute drive ( plenty of parking) or 20 minute walk away.

Reasonably close to Alton Towers, and also my relatives live there—also some excellent dog-walking countryside, canals and rivers locally. I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Bleeding Wolf pub in Scholar Green, which accommodated our multi-age, different needs family and dog. They even had a dog menu!

A big room and bed for just me. I had a disabled room (I hadn't asked for this but it was convenient and close to reception.
The walk in shower did not drain away so the floor was always covered in water.
I had a glass or wine which was expensive.
Breakfast was very good and nicely served, it was upstairs and I wondered how people in a wheelchair would manage but perhaps there was a lift to the restaurant.

When I was at school, Alsager was a pleasant village situated in rolling farmland.
I was somewhat surprised to see the brutal industrialisation being imposed on the town by pointless, unsympathetic and unattractive industrial units that have been built and, I suspect, will be unused apart from a couple of security operatives and an angry dog.

The town has small businesses with a local expertise as to what people want, as well as a choice of charity shops to look round for bargains ! There are places to eat and we had an excellent Indian meal for 2, nicely served and without the need to book in advance. There is also a choice of a supermarket with good opening hours. There is a large central park with facilities for all ages of children.
A fabulous find. The hotel is just lovely. Staff great, room perfect and so peaceful, great nights sleep. The food is absolutely delicious. A really excellent stay. Didn't have the chance to use the Spa facilities , but maybe next time, the pool and outside areas looked so inviting.
Small family run hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. My partner and I had a good sized bedroom and bathroom, all this for £80 was very good value. Our friends who were also staying had a small bathroom but paid a little less, £75
Hotel was close to the M6 motorway as we used it to break a long journey, but far enough away as not to hear any traffic, there was a pub close by that had excellent value for money meals. The breakfast was nice and filling.
The staff were great. Very helpful and smiling all the time. Comfortable atmosphere in the hotel. Pool was nice and gym was clean and had useful. I travel for work regularly so i will return here if the rate is good enough.
Alsager is a lovely village, and Lindop View was located in a quiet residential street, great parking on the drive and a lovely house overall. Nice and clean and we really enjoyed out stay!
The location in the centre of Alsager was exactly what we needed, convenient, accommodation well equipped, shower outstanding, free parking. Very well decorated.
Very well managed local hotel. The facilities have been upgraded and we had a very nice stay . We travelled from the USA to be near family and it was perfect.
