Cheerful welcome by Manager who showed me to my room. Professional and courteous staff, large comfortable clean room, decorated on theme of local coastal village, Thorpeness. Loved the yachts on some of the furnishings. Delicious, well presented dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend.

Great choice at breakfast, room comfortable and clean, all facilities you would need, coffee and tea , and nice touch chocolates, bottles of water, proper hangers in wardrobe, with robes to wear, iron, ironing board and hair dryer.
Midway between Southwold and Aldeburgh, this modernized, rustic inn has an excellent restaurant and refurbished, stylish rooms. It is an ideal base for exploring the Suffolk Heritage Coast.

We had very comfortable beds and the room was warm. They provided a nice dog bed, treats and towel and our dog was made welcome.

We didn’t explore Aldringham much as we headed off to the coast each day but we did use the local Co-op which had everything we required and was only a short drive from the cottage. There are also a large selection of good pubs selling good food all around.
