This was a great jumping off point for exploring the area. Beautiful, spacious rooms and a nice garden outside with plenty of seating. Jerome was an excellent chef and the included breakfast was fantastic. Nadège was especially helpful in finding a restaurant that could accommodate my food allergies.

I introduced this beautiful region to my wife and a befriended couple from Denmark and decided to book a 2 nights weekend getaway at the Hotel Val Vignes in St. Hippolyte.
The hotel itself is beautiful and so is the location. The service of the frontdesk team and all the employees we encountered is magnificent. We enjoyed every interaction with them. Beeing it pre- and afterdinner drinks, bike rental, wine storage; everything was great, and as mentioned, the staff is superb. The only disappointment was the actual room. We booked the Premium category, but the room didn't look at all as displayed. We had a parking view and the room was just OK. A bummer as it didn't match the overall wonderful experience we encountered at this exceptional hotel. Also, the room cleaning was not up to standard. Dirty towels (we put on the floor) were taken but not exchanged. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel, but we would ensure we will get an appropriate room per booked category when visiting again.

Location was great, the village is charming.
The appartment was spacious and fully equipped with everything you might need to cook for yourself. The host even put the Christmas tree and decorations in the apparrment.
The host was very friendly and was pleased to explain to us everything about the utilities in the appartment and about the area.
Furniture and facilities looked like new and quite modern.
Overall: everything was extremly cosy and charmimg!
Stayed here before heading to Switzerland. The hotel is a little bit off the autoroute, but well worth the detour into the hills Thannenkirch is a small village. The hotel was very welcoming and just what we needed after a long drive. Breakfast was very good using local produce and home made jams. A lovely place to stay and would make a great base for a longer break to see a bit more of this fascinating area of France.
Clean and spacious accommodation with all the modern conveniences at your disposal for a comfortable stay. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings (great views from the loft) to enjoy nature. The host were very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately we only had one night but I have no hesitation in returning to stay here and further explore the region. My family and I spent Christmas at this hotel and it was magical. We rented two apartments and both were super clean and beautiful. The hostess was super nice and helpful. The location was perfect; near enough to all the Alsace villages and private enough to enjoy nature and amazing views. I highly recommend it and we will be definitively be staying here again. We booked a double room and the suite for our 3 daughters. The place is beautiful, the rooms are spacy and comfortable. The location is great - close to Bergheim, Ribeauvillé, Requiwihr - amazing towns. Very nice breakfast! And the best part - the hosts are so nice and helpful! And they speak English! Oh, and there's an electric piano there. What else could I ask for? ;)
