My family had a wonderful time here. The place was clean and had everything we needed and more. The hosts are welcoming and kind. We had a lot of fun playing cards and scrabble at the dinning table and enjoyed the food so graciously provided to us.

The place was on remote countryside place which we adore. There were 2 funny and goofy dogs which I really liked. Amanda, the host was the best host so far, friendly, helpful and just a great person overall. We felt like we were at home there, and would definitely come again if we ever going to visit a nearby place.

It was a beautifull, old castle-like house. The house has lots of space in-side and out-side. The privacy was maximized by an enclosed property.
The Balzac Hotel is an 18th-century mansion, in the heart of the historic district of Fougères. Its individually decorated rooms have satellite TV and free Wi-Fi internet access.
A very calm place. The hosts are amazingly hospitable and sociable. They create a family atmosphere. Extraordinarily generous breakfast. Recommended to everyone, especially those who want to relax for a few days.

This country setting was ideal for peace and quiet. Yet it was near enough to some fascinating places like Vitre, Fougeres, Pontmain, and more! We loved this area of France because of the pastoral settings and proximity to interesting towns with intact structures from the MIddle Ages.
