Small village, with few amenities, but Mont de Marsan is only a few miles away, with everything necessary, plus huge LeClerc on the outskirts. Within easy reach of other areas - Pau, the Atlantic Coast etc. Lovely 18 hole golf course.
Typical budget hotel .Glorious night’s sleep (though driving 2 days so that helped ) not many guests as out of season I imagine. good price at 50 euros though breakfast need’s work usual cold coffee which for some reason tasted of chocolate and bread needed a chainsaw to cut it but heyho it’s France never be the capital of quisine .Would book again as this seems the norm
The staff at this hotel are lovely, welcoming and cheerful. It's so easy to park and get your cases to the room.
Breakfast was nice I hadn't tried it before. There is a place called Oncle Scotts about 400 metres away on the other side of the main road. We had fish and chips and they were delicious, Chips to die for.
Very clean and comfortable, staff were welcoming and helpful, nice and quiet for a good nights sleep. Restaurant next door although it was a bit pricey. Vending machine in hotel for drinks and snacks. Breakfast was adequate and included scrambled eggs and bacon.
Honestly I’d rate it a 10 for all things a hotel should be rated for. However, we picked this hotel because of the ‘charger present’. Their chargers, unfortunately, were inactive. Luckily the neighbour hotel had 4 working chargers (8 spots) available.
Exactly what you can expect of this kind of no fuzz hotel. Clean. Quiet. Nothing really to remember than a restful night before getting back on the road.
