We received a lovely warm welcome from Laetitia and Aldo. They went above and beyond when my husband asked if it would be possible to watch the rugby match on the TV by finding a chanel on the main TV.
As it was a Sunday we booked a meal. This was a home cooked delicious evening meal with a good selection of local wines.

English speaking staff who were very welcoming. Hotel corridors under refurbishment but that wasn't a problem. We were informed about this on booking. Free parking. Room and bathroom clean and value for money, if looking a little tired. We pre-ordered a group dinner for around 20 people. Three courses for 20Euro. It was delicious. How did they do it for only 20E? Breakfast was good and as expected. We will return if only for the evening meal!
The room was good, clean, and had all the usual facilities as expected, so I have no complaints. The evening meal was pre-organised for a group of us Matra enthusiasts, and was lovely. Breakfast was also good, and the staff were both polite and helpful. I have been to Romorantin before as it was the home of Matra Automobles and have visited La Pyramide previously so it was as expected.
The hotel is really well run by the proprietor. It is a very old building with contemporary fittings in each room. The bed was very comfortable, good sized shower over the bath and very quiet. The location is exceptional and worth a short detour from the A85 autoroute. The stay stayed overnight enroute travelling south. Veggie evening meal was really good. Excellent service.
Above all, the niceness of Charles and Samiha, the hosts. They are very helpful and accommodating to make one feel comfortable.
Also appreciated is the e-mail beforehand with recommendations for restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood.
The rooms look like bedrooms in a family home, not in a hotel.
The air conditioning, temperatures can get high in Sologne.
The host Thiery was amazing, speaking fairly good English as well. It was a pleasure to stay with him. We had access to all the facilities in the house and even anything in the fridge, freezer and kitchen. The area around Romorantin we know, as we have been twinned with the town for over 40 years.
Fanny was very nice.
The house was in perfect condition. My daughter and I were there for a ice skating competition and the location of the house to the rink was a few minutes away.
If we are ever near to this area again, I will definitely reserve this house again.

I have stayed at this hotel before. It is a good location close to A85 autoroute and local superstore for fuel. The hotel is away from the town centre but ideal for an overnight stop. An excellent veggie menu for evening meal and breakfast. Excellent value for money.
Incredible 3rd floor apartment in the heart of Romorantin-Lanthenay. Old historic building full of character and charm. Large comfortable bed. Smart Tv and a beautiful bath.
