Great location, very close to the Zoo. Staff was friendly, helpful although didn't speak English very well. The hallway was a bit smelly. Breakfast was very good, not too busy, we had pleasant stay overall.

Interesting old property, full of character and very close to town centre and excellent restaurants. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Also an excellent breakfast with home made produce. An excellent stay and highly recommended!

It is a medieval town through which the Cher River flows with a network of narrow cobbled streets, little shops and restaurants and dominated by a splendid chateau. There are several places to stay but the Hotel Beauvillers is to be avoided at all costs.

Although we chose one of the wettest times to see St Aignan, I can imagine on a nice sunny day with the bars, cafes and restaurants open it would be even more lovely. We didn't have time to explore the church and other historical buildings but will do on our next visit.

An interesting town of cobbled streets with many places to eat (we were not there long enough to sample any) but nothing of particular note. The saturday market was good and everybody was wearing face masks.

We went to visit the Zooparc de Beauval, which we found to be worth a two-day stay. Everyone in Saint-Aignan was extremely nice to us, despite our near-total inability to speak French, and I wish we had an extra day to explore the town and the surroundings.

This historic, comfortable hotel was originally a hospital back in the day. It was very quiet at night, yet walking distance to several restaurants in Saint Aignan. We awoke to the aroma of fresh croissants in the morning & had a delightful breakfast (worth the cost). I highly recommend and will stay here again if we return to the area!
The breakfast was fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Please note that there is a regular bus service
from Blois to St Aignan which costs 3 Euros. We were not sure if it ran on a Sunday so took a taxi to Tours. The taxi driver told us it would cost 200 Euros but when we got to the station he said 242 Euros. We felt very much at home in the hotel and wish that we had more time to explore this beautiful town.
The hotel was exactly what we expected, nice authentic place, with a little garden, parking, breakfast and daily housekeeping. Staff was nice and welcoming, provided a baby cot on request. Minibar was re-stocked with water and soft drink every day, plus tea, coffee. The town itself is very nice to walk around and enjoy the views. Our primary objective was to visit Zooparc Beauval, which is just 10 minutes away.

The place was good. Only issue was we paid for a premium room and from the floor plans we were given the smallest room in the hotel which was a small disapointment.
Hotel was unique and beautiful. Well located near the river and a short walk to town centre. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.
