This was the most amazing place we stayed in France. The accommodations were so beautiful and the entire experience was once-in-a-lifetime perfection! Our host Christophe made every moment fabulous -- from dinner to breakfast to several entertaining and enlightening conversations. He also had great advice for visits in the area. And, the views from across the moat to the chateau were surreal. We would go back here in a heartbeat.

So we had a long drive from Bayeux, avoiding the autoroutes to take in the country more. Madame was most welcoming when we arrived, and directed us to nearby Le Tourqet for an evening meal, (too late and too rainy for a social visit. Buffalo, quick and dirty.) Our en suite accommodation was very comfortable, the bed large and the shower strong, if that is what you wanted - I did. At breakfast, a good spread of a continetal kind, Madame was the kindest of hosts
